Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspects product during production for conformance to specification by performing the following duties.

  • Ensure that all protractors, squares, and combination squares are calibrated to the standards described in work instructions.

  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor/manufacturing manager.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products to re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Upload pictures and edit them for reports.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calls for repairs.

Requirements

+ Develop and execute strategies for product and process improvements, new product development, and involvement in Government/Military contracts.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, systems engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering.
+ Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment with weldments and large assemblies.
+ Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
+ Experience with CAD software such as Inventor and AutoCAD.
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Minitab, and continuous improvement tools like DMAIC, 5 Whys, A3 reports, and value stream mapping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with trailer/vehicle systems and pressure vessels.
+ Familiarity with standards, fixture design, workflow, process flow, robotic welding, and robotics.
+ Understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly with stainless steel and metal fabrication (MIG/TIG welding, cutting, bending, polishing, etc.).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $8000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing operations running efficiently and safely by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing machinery with minimal downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, controls, and industrial equipment during production to minimize downtime.

Perform preventative and proactive maintenance procedures focused on equipment reliability and longevity.

Ensure all work complies with company safety policies and environmental procedures.

Utilize your technical training or specialized skills to solve maintenance challenges.

Exhibit a commitment to quality, safety, and proactive maintenance practices to prevent crises.

RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in industrial maintenance (electrical, mechanical, or controls preferred)

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Technical training or certifications in maintenance or electrical systems a plus

Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to continuously learn

Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions and standard operating procedures

Physically capable of:

Walking, standing, and bending throughout the shift

Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly

Climbing ladders and using hand/power tools

Must be trained in or willing to be trained in:

Hazard recognition

Lockout/Tagout procedures

Confined space entry

PPE usage

Emergency response protocols
