This position requires a highly motivated self-starter with knowledge in the fabrication, assembly, system integration, and testing of hardware. The candidate will be involved in authoring & creating Product Release Documents (PRD), Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), Work Instructions, PPP & BTP packages. Work with and coordinate with Global Supply Chain to move installation packages and related engineering documents through process flow to drive material procurement. Assist in peer reviews of design releases to ensure first time quality. Interface with cross functional internal & external teams and stakeholders critical to system deployment and installation. Oversee and drive progress using metrics and lessons learned. Author and assist in the creation of comprehensive & detailed work instructions for multiple system locations supporting system deployment and success.

**This position will support our B shift (4/10's schedule, WEEKDAY NIGHTS) production.**
This role can be filled at a Manufacturing Technician Level 1 or Manufacturing Technician Level 2 depending on the qualifications below.
**What you'll get to do:**
As a Manufacturing Technician you work on the next generation composite structures.
This job involves the fabrication of composite hardware using a variety of methods such as hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and final finishing. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.
**Basic Qualifications for Manufacturing Technician 1:**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Proficiency in Microsoft applications
+ Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, and kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
+ Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
+ Must successfully complete and pass the "ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance" within a reasonable time period, as defined by the company to meet its business need.
**Basic Qualifications for Manufacturing Technician 2:**
