Environmental Factors: This position requires working in an environment that has a high amount of plant matter and pollen. Areas of the facility reach high/low temperatures with high humidity levels. Employees may have exposure to conditions such as dust, plant matter, and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or skin, depending on department job assignments. Employees are required to wear protective gear and have the option to wear eye and ear protection. Certain areas of the facility use harsh chemicals for cleaning such as bleach and can have repetitive movements. Employees should be comfortable and capable of working under all of the above conditions.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This key leadership role is responsible for managing all maintenance activities, ensuring they are performed safely and efficiently to meet our world-class uptime and equipment reliability goals. The Maintenance Manager works closely with various departments to coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
+ Responsible for adherence to all company policies, including, but not limited to, the use of personal protective equipment and other health, safety, and environmental procedures.
+ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations for the maintenance department.
+ Maintains maintenance and electrical schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
+ Maintains equipment and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
+ Direct supervisor of Maintenance Foreman and Electrical Foreman.
+ Supervises employees: planning and assigning work, adjusting schedules to meet production requirements, analyzing and resolving work problems, inspecting materials to verify conformance with standards, and working closely with HR on all disciplinary issues.
+ Works closely with plant staff on continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Provides support to various departments throughout the plant for equipment installation, troubleshooting, rebuilding, and re-design.
+ Manages all weekly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance events.
+ Assists other departments with planning and technical assistance when needed.
+ Manages several projects simultaneously in a high-stress and critical deadline environment.
+ Ability to work with plant engineers, corporate engineers, vendors, and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
+ Works any and all shifts and is available on an on-call basis in times of need.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
+ Degree in Engineering with an emphasis in any of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Controls, or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ At least three years of successful and current experience as a maintenance manager or engineer in a continuous, high-speed manufacturing operation.
+ Must be able to excel in a deadline-oriented environment and demonstrate a high level of competence in organizing and prioritizing multiple work assignments.
+ Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently within interpretive guidelines, take the initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
+ Creative problem solving; great team player.
+ Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.

Process Engineers Your work here would include developing innovative solutions geared towards improving our product designs. You'll be building transformation models and evaluating and designing process equipment. We're typically looking for someone from a chemical engineering background for these roles. Converting & Packing Engineers We develop innovative, web-processing, equipment solutions to improve the design of our consumer products like diapers and paper towels. You'll be using 3D digital modeling, throughput simulation tools, and mechatronics to invent pioneering production systems. A good fit for this role would be someone from a mechanical or electrical engineering background. Control System Engineers Do you want to build some cool automation systems, control information networks, or vision and robotic systems? Engineers here use mechatronics and process dynamic simulation tools to create industrial software solutions that enable efficient production. Typically these are electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering roles.

We are currently seeking General Manufacturing Employees to grow with us! A general manufacturing position includes the opportunity to learn the printing process from the ground up and advance in a progressive environment. In this position you will assist in the creation of various well known magazines/catalogs/newspaper inserts and other related products in our Commingling department.
Shift Schedule: Weekends and back half of the week- Day/Night 12-hour shifts.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. + The ability to take stacks (average 10-30 lbs) using repetitive hand/wrist movement, off of the end of a machine (2-4 feet high) and stack product on skids from floor level to 5 feet high using repetitive bending and twisting.
+ The ability to remove skids (weighing up to 2400 lbs) by using a Big Joe and Hand Truck
+ Ability to lift stacks of end boards (30 lbs) as needed
+ Lift rolls of banding strap (60 lbs) as needed
