_This role has daily collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing Operations, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, Operations Program Management, and various strategic teams across the Mission Systems enterprise._

**_Basic Qualifications_** **_Manufacturing Engineer_**
+ _Bachelor's degree in an applicable Engineering discipline or other technical disciplines with 2 years related experience in manufacturing or engineering,_ **_OR_** _a master's degree with 0 years_
+ _Experience with or knowledge of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or production/shop floor systems_
+ _Experience with process development, process flow, tooling, and manufacturing methods._
+ _Experience_ _in reading, interpreting, and applying engineering drawings, specifications, test procedures, and mechanical layouts._
+ _Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance_

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. _The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of a team in a multi-shift manufacturing environment. This role also supports a daily collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Global Supply Chain, Design Engineering, Production Planning, Operations Program Management, and various strategic teams across the Mission Systems enterprise._

**_Core Responsibilities_**
+ _Manage staffing needs to support existing and forecasted program schedules for our EO/IR Laser (Electro-Optical/Infrared Sensors). This will include both the Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering team members._
+ _Lead and optimize manufacturing operations by developing and implementing strategies that enhance productivity, reduce cost, and ensure high-quality product delivery._
+ _Accountable for maintenance of site-specific manufacturing standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and instructions/procedures within site MES._
+ _Support training of manufacturing teams in compliance with released production processes._
+ _Prepare a regular review of manufacturing capacity planning and optimization across all production lines._

- Collaborates with management regarding the placement and promotion of any employee in a new or existing buildings
- Confidentially escalates employees, customers, and building issues to management through a daily summarized updates at the end of the shift
- Monitors and inspects buildings for cleanliness and be proactive on correcting issues and/or replacing cleaners in a timely manner
- Provides proactive and responsive customer service through effective, professional and prompt communication
Location: Leesburg, GA (40% in office, and 60% travel in company vehicle to inspect buildings located within 60-miles)
Hours: 2:00p m – 10:00pm (Full-time)
Compensation of $15.00 - $18.00hr for a 40-hour work week for the first 90-day probationary period
