**The Role**
OurManufacturing Techniciansfill a critical need in FUJIFILM's chemical plant operations. They support the daily operations in our fast-paced production area. As a Production Operator you will perform hands-on batch processing and liquid production of solvents. Loading and offloading of bulk chemical solvents and blends into tanker trucks, holding vessels, rail cars and drums. Monitor tank truck and rail car loading and unloading.

**Key responsibilities for this role include:**
+ Batch processing and liquid production of solvents. Loading and offloading of bulk chemical solvents and blends into tanker trucks, holding vessels, railcars and drums.
+ Monitoring of tank truck and railcar loading and unloading.
+ Handling and maintenance of equipment such as pneumatic sanitary pumps, hoses, and filter housings.
+ Forklift and pallet jack operation.
+ Prepare production processes by studying work orders, setting systems and controls.
+ Produce solvents and solvent blends by initiating, monitoring, and controlling raw material processing.
+ Maintaining quality standards by collecting samples, completing quality assurance tests, and adjusting process controls.
+ Maintain processing system by investigating warnings and malfunctions, obtaining or performing required maintenance service on production equipment.
+ Cleaning-up after processing.
+ Improve processing systems by identifying problems, evaluating and recommending new techniques.
+ Maintain processing environment by following safety, health, and environmental standards and procedures.
+ Complying with legal state and federal regulations.
+ Make the necessary decisions to ensure production targets are met to effectively keep operations on track.
+ Following all procedures, work instructions, batch / work orders, special instructions, and finished goods analysis sheets.
+ Update your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

**REQUIREMENTS**
+ High School graduate or GED
+ 0-1 yrs Manufacturing experience required
+ Basic math skills
+ Mechanical background/aptitude is a plus
+ Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products
+ Analytical sampling experience a plus
+ Must be able to speak, read and write in English
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills
+ Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning- Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
+ Must have a valid Texas drivers' license and clean driving record
+ Experience operating a forklift and other manufacturing tools preferred
+ Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
+ Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator, if needed
+ Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st and 2nd shift, including weekends
+ Excellent safety, work performance and attendance records

At APC the Quality Inspector performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts, and products at various stages of production. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes operations. With the knowledge of Gage reading as well as Blueprint reading and Metrology
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Adheres to ISO requirements, safety, and company standards, policies, and regulations.
- Utilizes measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and electronic test equipment.
- Performs receiving inspection on incoming materials, parts, and products.
- Evaluates product specifications and examines them to specified requirements.
- Compiles, interprets and records observations of inspection processes.
- Identifies, communicates, and assists in the resolution of quality-related issues.
- Performs various quality control inspections, checks, and tests of products during various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of gage reading as well as blueprint reading and metrology
- 2-3 Years in quality in a manufacturing environment.
- Team player with a good attitude and willingness to assist wherever necessary to get the job done.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble product components with precision, using advanced tooling and equipment.
- Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics to execute high-quality assembly.
- Read and follow written and/or visual production procedures
- Perform inspections to ensure parts and final products meet tolerance specifications and quality standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and/or electrical issues during and after assembly

- Conducts testing of mechanical systems and improvises procedures and processes if necessary.
- Develops or modifies mechanical products to company or customer requirements.
- Operates related mechanical equipment necessary to construct, troubleshoot, process, and maintain specific products.
- Prepares and assists in determining prescribed compounds and solutions for use in processing, etching, and metalizing materials.
- Evaluates various types of mechanical products and equipment and develops tuning, test, and alignment procedures.
- Recommends changes or modifications to improve the operation or quality of mechanical products.
- Determines methods, operations, and sequences in settling procedures for constructing, processing, and modifying mechanical products as needed.
- Designs and improvises difficult mechanical tools and fixtures as needed.
- Performs the more complex analyses of rejected, returned, or in-process microwave tubes in support of engineering/manufacturing as needed.
