What You Will Do
- Designing and Implementing Procedures: Implement manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment.
- Research: Research automation techniques to maximize the efficiency of production lines.
- Equipment Layouts: Plan plant layouts to optimize how products are made across entire facilities or warehouses.
- Quality Control: Evaluate processes and make recommendations for improvements.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relative job experience in an Engineering position
- Experience working in a Manufacturing setting
- 3 plus years of working experience in a Manufacturing Engineer role

- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Experience in using CAD (SolidWorks) to determine if tooling, equipment, and part designs meet requirements.
- Experience in using CAD (SolidWorks) to design for manufacture fixtures and equipment
- Experience in managing multiple large-scale projects
- Experience in accurate quote design, tools/equipment, and parts
- Experience in developing / working through continuous improvement plans (CIP)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may support one or more of the following production areas, depending on business needs: Assembly, Wetroom (Clean & Test), Laser Etch, Finishing, Laser Cutting, Fin Stamping, Machining, and Shipping.
Key responsibilities include:
Adhere to departmental job expectations and production requirements.
Maintain production flow by completing job assignments in alignment with quality, schedule, and efficiency targets.
Perform accurate recordkeeping of time, data, and production information on documentation and computer systems.
Evaluate data and results against specifications to determine product acceptance.
Inspect and measure parts using precision tools, measurement equipment, and visual inspections to confirm compliance with specifications.

Follow company processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure safe and compliant production practices.
Read and interpret blueprints, including dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

The SECONDARY OPERATIONS MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN will manufacture products to production and customer documentation requirements meeting customer and company defined quality and on-time delivery requirements. This position must ensure that all work is performed to superb quality standards and in a timely and efficient manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may support one or more of the following production areas, depending on business needs: Assembly, Wetroom (Clean & Test), Laser Etch, Finishing, Laser Cutting, Fin Stamping, Machining, and Shipping.
Key responsibilities include:
Adhere to departmental job expectations and production requirements.
Maintain production flow by completing job assignments in alignment with quality, schedule, and efficiency targets.
Perform accurate recordkeeping of time, data, and production information on documentation and computer systems.
Evaluate data and results against specifications to determine product acceptance.
Inspect and measure parts using precision tools, measurement equipment, and visual inspections to confirm compliance with specifications.
Operate machines and hand tools to manufacture products to required standards.
Apply materials such as cleaning agents, adhesives, lubricants, and inks in the manufacturing process.
Follow company processes, procedures, and work instructions to ensure safe and compliant production practices.
Read and interpret blueprints, including dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Identify and troubleshoot equipment and process issues to reduce nonconforming product and drive continuous improvement.
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required; 1-2 years manufacturing experience is .
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Listening, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities.
Can problem solve and has ability to think independently.
Pay attention to detail.
Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools is a plus.
Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter.

Core Weekly Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:00am to 3:30pm, 8-hour shift, with available overtime hours/pay (especially during the fall and winter busy season).

Feed Mill Manufacturing Operator Essential Responsibilities:
ALCIVIA is looking for a Feed Manufacturing Operator to manufacture, inspect, test, receive, mix, package, and load animal feed related products in preparation for delivery to members. This position will be responsible for precisely weighing up feed ingredients and medications, while learning other important aspects of the feed mill. In this position may require you to work at all height levels of the feed mill. Responsibilities will include working indoors & outdoors throughout the calendar year.
- Bag and package feed bags
- Prepare trucks for loading/unloading
- Mix and prepare feed by adding a prescribed amount of corn, soybean meal, drugs, and feed ingredients for making desired feed
- Assist with monitoring inventories to ensure proper ingredients are on hand for mixing. Minimizes excess inventory and out-of-date materials
- Performing quality control checks on equipment
- Maintain equipment and facilities
- Understand and operate automated scale/dump systems
- Utilizing the mill computer and software
- Assist with troubleshooting and monitoring software programs
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the commodities handled at the location and comply with company policy and government regulations pertaining to commodities
- Keep all work areas in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Conduct regular housekeeping duties such as sweeping, shoveling, power washing, scraping and cleaning up spills
- Occasionally assist with moving fleet around the facility to prep for deliveries
- Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible
- Other duties as assigned
Feed Mill Manufacturing Operator Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous feed operator experience is preferred
- Previous manufacturing/production experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record is preferred
- Agriculture background is a plus
- Some computer and technology skills
- Good written and verbal and communication
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
- Self-directed and focuses on taking action
- Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions
