Unique formulations are designed to meet customer needs and optimize battery performance. The Sol-Rite electrolyte formulation mainly consists of organic solvents such as ethylene carbonate and lithium salt electrolytes such as LiPF6. In addition, patented technologies and know-how are incorporated into the formulations to control the solid electrolyte interface on the cathode and anode.**
Job Purpose
The primary function of this position is the efficient production of electrolyte solution for lithium-ion batteries. In addition, the individual will be responsible for clean room routines, recording and reviewing documentation, and supporting environmental monitoring routines.
Principal Accountabilities
+ Identify and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe working conditions.
+ Operate production equipment in the manufacturing of chemical products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Operating Discipline Principles and Practices.
+ Set-up, operate, clean and monitor processing equipment.
+ Complete production records and maintain a clean work environment.
+ Maintain skills necessary to operate all equipment in the unit as required by operating/safety procedures.
+ Initiate service requests and notify supervision regarding status of equipment. malfunctions and troubleshoot process issues as needed.
+ Perform safe-outs, lockouts, tag outs and tryouts.
+ All other duties assigned by supervision.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
+ 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment with chemical experience a plus.
+ Must possess high school education or GED, two-year degree or technical school desired.
+ Must possess applicable Silver level WorkKeys scores - Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information, Reading for Information.
+ Ability to obtain lift truck certification.
+ Must be computer literate and competent in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
+ Problem solving skills to resolve quality or production problems that may arise.
+ Technical ability to identify and anticipate problems and resolve them before they occur; confidence in job knowledge to make critical operating decisions.
+ Ability to work a rotating shift; weekends; holidays; overtime; and respond to callouts.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. - Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and practices relating to quality, safety, ergonomics, etc.
- Establishes production schedules based on production requirements and resources available
- Works closely with Operations Management to resolve all issues related to throughput, quality, and plant operations
- Maintain accurate records and reports of activities such as labor utilization, machine performance, production levels, defective rates, etc.
- Provide assistance in maintaining ISO certification
- Assist with electrical applications such as troubleshooting electrical wiring and testing of motors and control devices
- Work safely around moving parts, electrical installations, hot surfaces, and sharp objects

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Experience:
- 2-5 years of hands professional electrical or mechanical engineering experience preferably in manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute schematics
- Must be able to lead techs and manufacturing personal
- Strong communication and training skills
- Must have experience electrical concepts such as wiring layouts, electrical design
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks

Job Description
The Associate Manufacturing Technician - Final Assembly perform mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation tasks associated with manufacturing power transformers.
THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Perform manufacturing tasks such as loading and unloading of machinery and operation of non-CNC equipment or not coil winding related, including but not limited to gluing and clamping machines, painting and coating equipment, test and measurement equipment and oil filling equipment
• Assemble and disassemble parts or units; position, align, and fasten assemblies to final product, subassemblies, or frames using hand tools and power hand tools per product specifications or as directed.
• Measure and adjust parts using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers and micrometers.
• Inspect, verify, and document quality criteria during manufacturing to ensure that units meet exact specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
• Connect, crimp, solder and braze internal leads and product wiring according to specifications using electrical and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools and electric/ gas torch brazing.
• Wrap, tape or insulate leads and wires according to work instructions.
• Perform basic electrical tests to confirm proper wiring and insulation per specification.
• Follow prints, bills of material, specifications and work instructions to determine proper component parts for processing, assembly and installation.
• Disassemble units to replace parts or to package units for shipping.
• Fabricate wooden parts, fixtures and packaging for delivery of units to customer.
• Operate proper equipment to perform vacuuming, oil filling, and recovery correctly and safely.
• Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies as required.
• Safely move, handle and store materials without damaging items.
• Follow and comply with standard work procedures and sequence of operations to consistently meet manufacturing standards for safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Perform TPM tasks as directed for each job or area.
• Practice 6S and comply with all safety rules, guidelines and safe working practices.
• Safely operate material handling and lifting equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, motorized scissor lifts and work platforms.
• Assist other manufacturing areas as needed.
• Support and assist the Manufacturing Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager as needed.
• Understand and work under the direction of the appropriate Hyosung HICO policy and/or procedure.
• Know Hyosung HICO's Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
• High school education or equivalent and less than two years of training and/or experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Intermediate mechanical/technical skills.
• Experience using various hand and power tools.
• Basic math and geometry skills.
• Basic computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products.
• Basic knowledge and use of simple industrial measuring tools.
