The Manufacturing Manager will oversee the operations, managing labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and efficient operations, representing the company on regulatory issues, and enhancing operational procedures and systems. You will supervise shift teams to ensure safety compliance, organize and prioritize tasks, and meet production goals. This role offers significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize data to identify areas for business improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in production automation, data entry, and management software.
  • Knowledge of large-scale startup operations is a plus.
  • Certification in OSHA, HACCP, First Aid/CPR, and Food Hygiene preferred.
  • Strong motivation skills, ability to stand for extended periods, and fluency in English; bilingual in Spanish is helpful.
  • Ability to work in cold/damp environments.

Education

  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience; high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.

The Manufacturing Manager will manage the overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department. The experienced operations manager will ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. You will also be responsible for Supervisors and Leads on your shift to help ensure compliance with safety, organizing, monitoring and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals. **Key Responsibilities**
+ Use data to identify areas where we can improve business decisions.
+ Develop reports and dashboards that will advance daily operations within our nationwide fulfillment centers.

+ Manage direct reports and their activities. This includes overall performance management; training and development; analyzing and resolving work problems; and discipline. Lead team to achieve goals; promote and demonstrate effective communication and positive culture, etc.
**Qualifications**
**Skills & Requirements:**
+ Five (5) years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility.
+ A Minimum two (2) years of experience in a first-level production management role, preferably in a chilled food environment, within a fast-paced business.
+ Experience working in a fresh food manufacturing environment applying common processes, procedures, and equipment. Experience managing in a chilled food manufacturing business preferred.
+ Experience applying and enforcing routine Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in a food environment is essential.
+ Maintain fill rate and target on time shipment of 100%. Control and improve the flow of production while maintaining product quality.
+ Proficiency in technical applications like production automation, data entry, and software utilization for accessing project data, budget tracking, and process design.
+ Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
+ Knowledge of large-scale business start-ups is preferred.
+ Experience working in a continuous improvement environment and demonstrated delivery through change.
+ Certified and /or trained in OSHA requirements or expectations, HACCP, SDS, First Aid/CPR, and Food Hygiene
+ Ability to motivate others to work routine and monotonous processes and stand for extended periods of time
+ Must have a good understanding of English, bilingual (Spanish) speaking skills are helpful.
+ Ability to work in a cold/ damp environment and stand for extended periods.

We're looking for one Quality Control Technician in our Fulfillment Center to inspect and ensure that all ingredients and all items in boxes meet required quality standards.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Creating and updating the Quality Management System in alignment with quality standards (ISO 22000 and GMP) and relevant regulations.

Are you a person who enjoys leading people in a fast-paced team-oriented manufacturing work environment? If so, a Manufacturing Supervisor in our Animal Nutrition plant would be a good fit for you.

Your focus would be coordinating production within a safety and quality focus environment. Taking the forefront in safety and quality, employee engagement and coaching, and compliance with regulatory needs. SAFETY is our core value. You will lead our quality, safety and environmental programs to ensure full compliance. Continuous improvement drives us forward. You must be energized to make improvements through projects and innovation.
Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to hourly employees. This includes production, housekeeping, quality control and distribution to ensure safety, production, quality, and cost standards are met. This position has hourly direct reports and hands-on tasks. Uphold and demonstrate the Land O'Lakes core values.

Effectively interact with all employees to optimize efficiencies and meet plant objectives. Work closely with all members of management staff to ensure that the highest quality products meet scheduled commitments in a safe/efficient manner at the lowest possible cost. All other duties as assigned.

This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Experience-Education:

  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field
  • Solid organization skills and detail orientation skills
  • Capacity for consistently meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and data entry
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
  • Proven ability to coach, decision making, facilitate change, managing conflict; and ability to align performance with success.
  • Military experience based on qualifications

Competencies-Skills (Required):

  • Communication, Decision Making, Safety Awareness, Quality Orientation, Technical / Professional Knowledge, Customer Focus, Time Management, Leadership, Computer software savvy.

The individual will join our Centrotherm Manufacturing Team reporting to our shift supervisor. The ideal candidate is responsible for fabricating components of our InnoFlue line of polypropylene vent system components through a variety of processes including, cutting, routing and plastic welding.


Job duties:

  • Utilize our MRP System to view work orders and work instructions
  • Build product per work order through a combination of plastic fabrication techniques including: Plastic welding, routing, cutting, bending/shaping etc
  • Carton and label finished goods
  • Execute quality procedures as documented by quality department. Impart quality into every part manufactured
  • Ensure that manufacturing transactions are accurately entered into our MRP System
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
  • Assist the Manufacturing Leader in ensuring that department equipment and sanitation levels are safely and properly maintained following the principles of 5S
  • Assist the Manufacturing Team Leader in cycle counting inventory
  • Ensure efficient use of time and equipment, ensuring that the appropriate records and that tight inventory control and security is maintained
  • Assist management in continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed

  • The Technical Services Manager II assists and supports our plant operations teams in their continuous improvement, innovation, and production efficiency efforts.

    Essential Functions:

    • Provides technical support to existing plant staff.
    • Troubleshoots and assists with the installation of new equipment and processes.
    • Works closely with other senior-level leaders and plant leadership to troubleshoot and resolve issues that prevent or limit operations from meeting expectations.
    • Focuses on methods to improve plant's overall equipment efficiency and capacity targets.
