**Position Descriptions:**
The Quality Control Engineer (QCE) is responsible for performing many of the quality control tasks at the project level as defined in the quality control plan for the project. The QC engineer exercises judgment and discretion in making quality control-related recommendations, implementing quality control policies and procedures, and handling a wide variety of quality control matters in the field and office. The QC engineer is typically assigned to a single project but may be required to support multiple smaller projects, when necessary. This is a safety sensitive position.
**Position Qualifications:**
+ A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management.
+ Minimum of 1-2 years' experience on large commercial construction projects.
+ A valid Driver's License.

+ Participate in submittal reviews, weekly QC meetings and preparatory meetings.
+ Perform all initial and follow-up inspections and manage the punch list process. Inspections are conducted to verify that trade partner work complies with the project specifications and applicable codes. This includes performing material inspections to verify that the products are to specifications and that storage, staging and material handling methods are implemented.
+ Maintain records that identify areas inspected, tests performed and any significant findings. Initiate deficiency reports and track their resolution to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
+ Work closely with trade partner quality control personnel to understand their QC procedures. Review the trade partner's quality control logs and ensure corrective actions are implemented, when required.
+ Assist with the coordination and scheduling of third-party testing and source inspections. Interface with third party testing agencies, as necessary.

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for implementing and managing the QC program in collaboration with the project superintendent. They will typically coordinate the activities of multiple QC engineers on one or more projects. + Participate in the start-up and implementation of the six-step quality control/safety process. + Assist with the development of the preparatory meeting agendas and participate in the preparatory meeting prior to the start of each definable feature of work. Review and maintain the project quality process log (QPL).
+ Interface directly with owner's quality assurance and management on all quality-related issues.

Manufacturing is a pillar within Meta's Delivery Team supporting data center construction. We exist to support the predictable delivery of capacity at scale through manufactured solutions.The Manufacturing Team's primary focus is supply chain engagement and optimization. We accept Manufacturing Informed Designed (MID) components and orchestrate their detailing and prototyping to optimum manufacturability then work with our partners in Delivery to plan logistics and integration to avoid challenges in construction.This team is comprised of strategic designers, strategic builders, tactical specialists, plus internal and external subject matter experts (SME) including preconstruction managers, contractors, schedulers, equipment reliability engineers, and sourcing specialists. This position will lead program management of all manufactured components in support of Meta's RPL project. This mega-project is of such scale that it requires a high-performing PM to drive strategic and tactical aspects of first-of-kind prototyping, logistics, and integration. Never before have we relied so heavily on offsite construction; a necessity here to deliver a project of this magnitude on an aggressive timeline. **Position Description:**
The Lead Quality Control Engineer (LQCE) will be experienced in managing the QC process on Hensel Phelps projects and in exercising judgment and discretion in making quality control-related recommendations, implementing quality control policies and procedures, and handling a wide variety of quality control matters in the field and office. They may be tasked with assisting and mentoring less-experienced QC engineers when multiple QC resources are deployed on a single large project. Alternatively, they may be tasked with performing QC activities on multiple smaller projects. This is a safety sensitive position.
**Position Qualifications:**
+ A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture or construction management.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years' experience on large commercial construction projects.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Technically experienced and capable of comprehending the specifications, standards, and code requirements for all disciplines (i.e., architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical).
+ Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel-based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoCAD.
**Essential Duties:**
+ Review and update the project quality process log (QPL) and provide comments to the QC manager.
+ Under the oversight of the PS, direct the removal and replacement of non-conforming work and stop work not in compliance with the contract.
+ Be fully aware of the contract, plans, specifications and applicable codes. Submit and review RFIs to ensure changes are implemented in the field.
+ Receive trade partner test and inspection requests and produce a coordinated daily test and inspection schedule.
+ Actively participate in the work completion tagging process, in-house punch list process and the pre-final punch list process to document deficient items in the field.
+ Audit trade partner quality control procedures and participate in the quality recognition program.
+ Actively participate in the continuous improvement process (CIP) and lessons learned and be a leading advocate for these programs.
+ Perform safety and housekeeping inspections through the SAFE program.
**Physical Work Classification & Demands:**
