**3rd shift Hours: Monday - Friday 10pm-6:30am**

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Facilitate with customer audits, form control and onboarding tasks
+ Develop direct reports by providing challenging tasks and assignments; provide developmental feedback
+ Direct others through establishing direction; distribute workload; clear communication
+ Managing & Measuring work by tracking and assigning responsibilities for tasks; set clear objectives and provide feedback
+ Supervise the orientation process and ensure compliance to all safety, GMP, and other regulatory requirements
+ Develop direct reports by effectively using the PMD (Performance Management Discussion) process and offer clear and constructive feedback
+ Direct the daily work load to ensure schedule completion while managing utilization and efficiency
+ Build and develop a disciplined workforce that adheres to all procedures and Work Instruction Documents
+ Improve the production processes by utilizing the tools outline in PPI (Particle Process Improvement)
**Minimum Required Qualifications:**
+ HS Diploma or GED Required
+ 5+ years in Manufacturing Industry experience
+ At least 2+ years experience in a people leadership role
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
+ Working knowledge, Microsoft Office (Word, PP, Excel)
+ Lean Manufacturing experience
+ Advanced communication skills
+ Advanced problem solving
+ Ability to mentor, train, motivate and coach
+ Analytical capability

Our 32-acre facility specializes in creating high-quality precast concrete products for the Mid-Atlantic region. We offer a variety of precast wall panels, including traditional, insulated, and thin-brick options, customized to meet unique design needs. By building custom molds and fabricating all products in-house, we maintain exceptional quality control throughout the production process.
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all quality assurance and quality control processes within the precast concrete plant. This role ensures that all products meet company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in production quality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage quality control procedures in compliance with PCI, DOT, and project specifications.
- Supervise and train quality control technicians in inspection, testing, and documentation.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and certifications.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead plant audits, customer inspections, and third-party certifications.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and reduce nonconformances.
- Ensure safety standards are followed during all QC activities.
- Act as the primary liaison with customers, engineers, and inspectors on quality-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience in precast concrete manufacturing.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in precast concrete or related construction materials.
- Strong knowledge of PCI, ACI, ASTM, and DOT specifications.
- Certification as an ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician (Grade I or higher) and/or PCI Level II/III QC Technician preferred.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Plant and yard environment with exposure to varying weather conditions.
- Requires walking, climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

**A Day in the Life:**
Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry
Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures
Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint
Record and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirements
Drive safety culture and quality in all activities
Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriate
Participate in the Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/ or Kaizen events
**Education:**
High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience:**
+ Required: No previous work experience required
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
+ Follow all safety protocols
+ Drive quality in all activities
+ Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
+ Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling
