Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in the Metro Detroit Area. This Manufacturing Engineer is going to be responsible for working on logistics and having a line of communication with the local Pontiac team, to be informed on any parts that are being delivered for manual bending and informing the team of what parts have the highest priority. They will be responsible for packing completed parts and creating shippers to deliver them to their destinations. Along with logistics, they will be responsible for any part tracking, involving tracking the part through completion from beginning to end ensuring there are no delays or lost parts. The Manufacturing Engineer will be working and looking through the team SharePoint daily for any new requests and change status of parts that have been completed. Invoicing and Billing will also be a large responsibility within this role, the engineer will be gathering accounting information from requestors ahead of requests to ensure proper funding & creating invoices for any requests. This engineer will be working heavily in design meetings - leading the meeting and ensuring all deliverables are being executed properly and parts are completed on time and reporting on these items to the team. This team is looking for an engineer that is willing to learn new things and willing to help other team members accomplish their goals for the team
Compensation:
$40/hr to $45/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Worker will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on the building. Job Requirements:

Main Duties & Responsibilities

General Description:

Responsible
for overall plant preventive & maintenance, includes production and
facilities primary and secondary equipment, and keeping accurate records. Reads
and analyzes equipment issues using prints, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic
schematics. Ability to organize and perform maintenance activities in a timely
fashion to ensure minimum downtime.

Specific
Responsibilities:

Performs
maintenance on primary and secondary equipment per the PM schedule
Keeps all
equipment maintenance records updated and well organized
Ability to read
blueprints and schematics in order to perform electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic
repairs
Program robots, sprue
pickers, etc.
Understanding of
electrical, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills
to repair them.
Organize projects
to meet target completion dates
Machine
Installation Power, and Cooling Systems
Troubleshoots and
repairs high priority production equipment on the plant floor
Able to disassembles
damaged mechanisms to determine extent of troubles
Able to
repair/replace defective parts and reassemble.
Documents changes
and provides information for as-built documentation
Ability to ensure
proper documentation of maintenance activities.
Able to lift up to
75 pounds in a safe manner and work safely around associates.
Ability to operate
auto crane in a safe efficient manner.
Understating of Compress
air systems, Resin dryers, and mold temperature controllers

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in the injection molding industry.
  • Solid Understanding of electrical, pneumatics and Hydraulic Prints and schematics
  • Able to properly use welder, hand and power tools.
  • Creates and interprets electrical schematics.
  • High School Education or Equivalent (GED);
  • Mechanical skills
