JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the purpose/s of participating in the receipt and shipment of goods; maintaining required inventory levels; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and identifying losses; maintaining an organized warehouse layout.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance on forklift & other machinery.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport, packing, labeling shipping & receiving.
- Prepares orders by either pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements.
- Operate within standard operating procedures and Job Safety.
- Responsible for Quality control, that no damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
- Participates physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock and identifying losses.
- Move, Load and sort freight by hand or dolly prior to shipment.
- Stage & package finished product for loading/shipping.
- Responsible for unloading freight and ensuring bill of lading is correctly reflected.
- Responsible for loading freight per purchase order product, weight & shipping instructions.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
- Cleans warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Ability to learn and operate company equipment's.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*3-6 Months previous Warehouse Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Knowledge of product and warehouse process.
* Must have good command of the English language, both written and spoken
* Process oriented and ability to contribute to continuous improvement.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to read and interpret instructions, follow procedures, use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalency

This position performs inspections on incoming materials and fabricated products, in accordance with State DOT specifications and various owner requirements.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties but Not Limited To)
- Weld fit-up and inspection in accordance with approved drawings, DOT specifications and AWS requirements
- Coating Inspection (galvanizing, paint, etc.)
- Perform NDT, or obtain hours in various methods to become qualified
- Communicate with State DOT and 3rd Party inspectors
- Document nonconformances and corrective actions through work instructions and quality alerts
- Provide training, as needed, to production personnel
- Understand and process internal and external project sampling and testing protocols
- Coordinate with Manufacturing/Engineering with blueprint discrepancies
- Coordinate with production and suppliers on nonconforming material
- Communicate with colleagues effectively to enhance teamwork and overall results
- Execute administrative duties in an effective and timely basis
- Issue reports on timely basis
- Communicate all non-conformances to the Quality Supervisor
In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.

- Able to enter data associated with all product testing/inspection
- Hold and maintain current AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate
An equivalent combination of education and experience required to successfully complete the primary accountabilities is indicated below
Degree: Associates Degree (preferred) Major: Quality/Manufacturing Processes
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Area: Quality / Welding
