Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for heading/metal forming and internal secondary production processes.
- Responsible for operating the plant / machinery according to the required throughput such as OEE and other metrics of the different products / machines.
- Responsible for ensuring personnel are scheduled to manufacture production for the day / period. Manage personnel to run according to specific part routings, ensure to manage overtime, shifts and optimize labor utilization.
- Responsible for production of materials according to specified customer specifications and by adhering to the required quality standards of the Company.
- Ensure adequate tools are on hand and of good quality for each scheduled production runs, work with the tooling and engineering departments to optimize the tool effectiveness.
- Constantly communicate with supply chain, quality assurance and engineering managers and departments to ensure smooth and efficient flow of resources throughout the plant. Ensures clear communication of goals and objectives are aligned to promote best services to end customers at all times.
- Oversee departmental procedures and training.
- Develop annual projects designed to continuously improve the performance of the operations department.

**Job Description**
Location: Twinsburg, OH
Summary
Looking for a self-starting manufacturing engineer to establish and implement processes for the assembly of aircraft electrical components including Generator Control Units (GCUs), Transformer Rectifier Units (TRUs), and other electrical power conversion units. The selected candidate works as part of the engineering and operations team to support production by upkeep and writing of work instructions, implementation of new processes, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting of recurring defects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Writing and upkeep of manufacturing work instructions, routers, and associated paperwork.
- Perform design reviews within the engineering team for manufacturability

This role involves conducting thorough testing and analysis of raw, in-process, and finished samples, while maintaining accurate records and proper labeling. The technician will play a key role in supporting production quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct product pulls of raw, in-process, and finished samples for testing as needed.
+ Keep records and administer proper labels of products and conduct various shelf life evaluations.
+ Verify product labeling and code dates.
+ Perform all chemical and microbiological testing on all raw, process control, and finished product samples.
+ Perform sensory analysis on finished product, including tasting and smelling.
+ Conduct plant audits and checklists.
+ Perform benchtop testing in the lab.
+ Operate lab equipment such as titrators and perform calibrations as required by SOP, troubleshooting as necessary.
+ Maintain organization and cleanliness within the laboratory.
+ Communicate crucial process control testing and product evaluation results to management as specified by SOPs.
+ Maintain company LIMS by performing daily data entry of sample identification and results.
+ Verify supply inventories, restock, and prepare supplies as needed.
+ Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor and work within a team.

Work Environment
The technician will work in a laboratory and on the production floor, which will be kept cool due to dairy product requirements. Responsibilities include performing quality checks, such as swabbing and temperature checks, on the plant floor as well as conducting tests in the lab.
