The Manufacturing CNC Mill performs both routine and non-routine, moderately complex CNC functions following appropriate procedures for timely and accurate production.
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Primary duty is to set-up and operate CNC Mill to machine parts to customer requirements.
- Must be able to work in a high-volume environment.
- Must be able to read basic blueprints and perform basic job shop mathematical calculations.
- Familiar with CNC operation and possess a basic understanding of set-ups, tooling, and programming concepts, as well as feeds and speeds.
- Must be able to follow written instructions and to work with little supervision.
- Basic understanding of true position tolerance and Cartesian coordinate systems.
- Cleanliness of the work area and proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent damage or loss.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Minimum 3 years CNC job shop experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Requires frequent bending, reaching and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems onshore team based in Midland, TX you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.
Partner with the best
As Manufacturing Equipment Operator you are responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery used in the production or assembly of products. This role ensures equipment runs efficiently and safely, while maintaining product quality and adhering to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up, start, and operate manufacturing equipment according to specifications.

Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and make basic adjustments to ensure proper operation.

Perform routine checks, inspections, and preventive maintenance on machines.
-
Load raw materials into machines and remove finished products.
-
Record production data such as quantities produced, machine settings, and downtime.
-
Follow all safety and quality control protocols.
-
Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production status, issues, or maintenance needs.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-
Assist with equipment changeovers and troubleshooting as needed.
-
Report any mechanical failures or safety concerns immediately.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment .

Experience in a fast-paced production environment is a plus.
