The Sol-Rite electrolyte formulation mainly consists of organic solvents such as ethylene carbonate and lithium salt electrolytes such as LiPF6. In addition, patented technologies and know-how are incorporated into the formulations to control the solid electrolyte interface on the cathode and anode.**
Job Purpose
The primary function of this position is the efficient production of electrolyte solution for lithium-ion batteries. In addition, the individual will be responsible for clean room routines, recording and reviewing documentation, and supporting environmental monitoring routines.
Principal Accountabilities
+ Identify and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe working conditions.
+ Operate production equipment in the manufacturing of chemical products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Operating Discipline Principles and Practices.
+ Set-up, operate, clean and monitor processing equipment.
+ Complete production records and maintain a clean work environment.
+ Maintain skills necessary to operate all equipment in the unit as required by operating/safety procedures.
+ Initiate service requests and notify supervision regarding status of equipment. malfunctions and troubleshoot process issues as needed.
+ Perform safe-outs, lockouts, tag outs and tryouts.
+ All other duties assigned by supervision.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
+ 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment with chemical experience a plus.
+ Must possess high school education or GED, two-year degree or technical school desired.
+ Must possess applicable Silver level WorkKeys scores - Applied Mathematics, Applied Technology, Locating Information, Reading for Information.
+ Ability to obtain lift truck certification.
+ Must be computer literate and competent in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
+ Problem solving skills to resolve quality or production problems that may arise.
+ Technical ability to identify and anticipate problems and resolve them before they occur; confidence in job knowledge to make critical operating decisions.
+ Ability to work a rotating shift; weekends; holidays; overtime; and respond to callouts.

Job Summary
The Controller directs the accounting practices of City Brewing’s Memphis plant, by ensuring all financial records for the location are compliant with all relevant company policies and GAAP standards, and developing appropriate reporting to guide the plant leadership team. This individual leads a team of operational accounting experts who are collectively responsible for assisting the Plant Manager and HR Director in identifying cost reduction opportunities, tracking plant KPI performance, ensuring delivery of capital project returns, developing budgets and forecasts, and managing local plant accounting functions. The Controller also supervises the plant general ledger functions and financial reporting, plant level accounting control (e.g., expense reports, inventory, petty cash, etc.), and plant level operations analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the plant's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets for the Memphis plant
- Develops, analyzes, and interprets statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other indices of the plant’s operating effectiveness
- Monitors all cost accounting functions for the Memphis plant including new item setup, bill of material maintenance and verification, actual vs standard variance reporting
- Manages the plant period end close process to ensure compliance with the corporate close schedule
- Prepares the monthly operations results for the plant, and proactively investigates/reviews with local stakeholders
- Coordinates local activities with the company’s internal and external auditors
- Monitors financial controls for the plant in accordance with corporate policy to safeguard both customer and company owned assets against fraud, theft, and mitigate other financial risks
- Presents actual results vs targeted results to senior leadership and identifies areas of improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 10+ years accounting experience, preferably in both public and private sectors
- 5+ years experience managing and coaching a large team
- Manufacturing/operational accounting experience within a complex industry
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferred
- Advanced MS Suite capabilities, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**SUMMARY**
Kelly Engineering is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to join our client's team for an exciting opportunity! The Manufacturing Engineer will design and develop manufacturing processes to meet production requirements of quality and quantity for the lowest cost. You will collaborate with Production, Quality Control, Purchasing, Safety, Engineering Services, and other departments to meet these goals. The Memphis, TN site focuses on electronics manufacturing, so this role requires strong electrical engineering experience.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ New product introduction (NPI) including equipment selection, time studies, tooling specifications, line balance data, manpower requirements, and all areas of process development
+ Develop operation methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs - study product designs, materials, machines, and workflow
+ Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tools to ensure efficient product assembly and processing
+ Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and practices relating to quality, safety, ergonomics, etc.
+ Establish production schedules based on production requirements and available resources
+ Partner with Operations Management to solve issues related to throughput, quality, and plant operations
+ Maintain records and reports of activities such as labor utilization, production levels, machine performance, defective rates, etc.
+ Assist with maintaining ISO certification
+ Assist with electrical applications including troubleshooting electrical wiring and testing motors and control devices
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
+ 2+ years of hands-on electrical or mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing environment
+ Able to lead technicians and manufacturing personnel
+ Strong training and communication skills
+ Experience with electrical concepts including wiring layouts and electrical design
+ Able to read, interpret, and execute schematics
+ AutoCAD or SolidWorks

- Provide guidance for root cause analysis and corrective action to all levels within the organization.
- Support manufacturing with the implementation of efficient and reliable Lean Manufacturing processes.
- Supports and Leads Kaizen, Six Sigma, and 5S workshop activities and events.
- Inspires and encourages the use of best practices throughout the organization.
- Engages plant management and employees in conceptualizing, planning, implementing, and sustaining continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing tools.
- Frequently follows up with appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely and effective implementation and sustainability of continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with leadership to include identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects.
- Collects and monitors activities to assess trends and opportunities to provide proactive recommendations.
- Assist with establishing the measuring and tracking process for each initiative and provide timely reports to all stakeholders.
- Install, test, and commission capital equipment ensuring that product design requirements are met per manufacturer and AAON procedures.

- Perform cycle time and time study analyses
- Possess detailed knowledge of operations processes, facilities, services, practices, procedures and terminology

Education and Experience Requirements:
Degree(s): Associates Degree or Two-Year Degree from an Engineering Technical School Preferred
License(s): Refrigerant Handling License a plus
Certification(s): None
- Minimum of 3-5 years in industrial operations setting or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Electrical, mechanical, machinist experience
- Lean 6 Sigma training a plus
- Additional supervisory or leadership training a plus

The Controls Engineer at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Stanton, Tennessee will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from the ground up.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Use MES Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up on automation project's and installations
- Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems. Lead 4D efforts with significant downtime events
- Update program backups for automation
- Program new installations of tooling and conveyor systems
- Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements
- Coordinate automation campaigns
- Experience:
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
- Electrical Background (electrician or technician)
- Related experience
- Familiarity with Variable Frequency Devices (VFDs), encoders, Servo, network/Ethernet controls
- Ability to support any shift in a 7-day work pattern
- Candidate must be flexible to significant travel during initial plant start-up phase
- Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors consisting of outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or high school (GED) diploma with equivalent experience and skills.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience
- Mitsubishi PLC/HMI/VFD/SERVO/MOTION experience would be an asset but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
- PLC/MBI, robotics programming experience.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery
- Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics
- Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and, in addition to networking understanding, Ethernet, remote IO
- Ability to read blueprints
