What You Will Do
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will initiate, support, and lead Production Team activities targeting quality continuous improvement and assurance. Specific responsibilities include:
• Promote an atmosphere of continuous process and employee improvement.
• Support or drive Continuous Improvement activities.
• Enforce quality standards in all facets of the assigned areas.
• Assist with the evaluation, proper identification, and disposition of all non-conforming items and materials.
• Follow all significant product, document and process changes which affect quality.
• Work with departmental supervision in developing and maintaining a trained work force.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, and Research and Development in the Design, Introduction, Inspection and Maintenance of new and existing equipment.
• Define, troubleshoot and assist in measurement and resolution of daily production quality problems.
• Must have an uncompromising attitude towards Quality.
• Maintain manufacturing quality performance metrics and/or quality records.
• Manage Quality aspects of Stop Shipment process, from initiation to closure.
• Take active role in Stop Ship investigations and Stop Ship rework tracking/coordination.
• Take active role in analysis of scrap and yield opportunities.
• Perform work center, finished product and process audits, as required.
• Create Process Maps.
• Initiate CAPA Determinations.
• Report safety near misses and incidents whenever applicable.

Education & Experience Requirements
• Technician III: Vocational training and 5+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; or High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years experience in a relevant work environment.
• Technician IV: Vocational training and 8+ years of experience in a relevant work environment is required; or High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years’ experience in a relevant work environment.
• Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally on the shop floor on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and Windows operating system.
• Ability to develop and maintain records and to follow projects through to conclusion.

- Review all warranties from the department and work with the appropriate support departments to implement the required corrective actions.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to help implement and continually improve processes within the department.
- Verify that scrap generated during the manufacturing process is appropriately posted and assigned.
- Review all rejections and take corrective action as required to assure quality and production.
- Monitor the flow of parts and take the necessary action(s) to keep the production floor supplied with quality parts.
- Support supervision with all EHS, ISO and housekeeping initiatives.
- Assist supervision with reassignment of personnel within or outside of the department, when needed.
- May supervise department in absence of supervision.
- Write Permission Notes and Change Requests as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for an Additive Engineer for your Euclid, OH global headquarters. The Additive Engineer plays a critical role in the service and support of our Additive Solutions Robotic Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) system installations at customer locations. The Additive Engineer will support Lincoln Electric Additive Solutions systems customers through equipment setup, equipment servicing, training and general support of customer production and research needs.

This role will require frequent travel; expected travel is greater than 50% with the potential for up to 75%.
What You Will Do
Service and support customer WAAM system installations:
- Equipment installation supervision & setup li>System debug & troubleshooting
- Onsite training
- Customer part printing support (onsite & remote)
- Equipment maintenance & upgrades
- Phone Support
- Lead customer training activities both onsite and at Additive Solutions in Cleveland
Support as required the Cleveland additive production operations:
- Part production activities including 24/7 prints which may require shift work
- Sales efforts providing assistance with customer inquiries and solutions
- Estimating & sales activities
- Production system troubleshooting & maintenance
- Work on the design, specification, and documentation of equipment, processes and materials used in additive manufacturing
- Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the Company’s 2025 Strategy.
Education & Experience Requirements
- < i>Minimum four-year B.S. in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, Metallurgy, Software, or Material Science)
- Level I Engineer previous internship or co-op within engineering field.
- Level II Engineer 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
- Level III Engineer 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
- Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experiences /ul>
- Possesses and applies fundamental engineering and scientific principles, practices and procedures, within the field of specialization, to the completion of assignments li>Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
