+ Loading and unloading sheets of plywood and wood products
+ Supporting the movement of materials within the manufacturing area
+ Assisting team members with general labor tasks as needed
+ Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
+ Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
+ Reliable attendance and punctuality
+ Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
This role is for a Manufacturing Company and is required to be on-site in Leeds, AL.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
+ Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
+ Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
+ Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
+ Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
+ Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
+ Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
+ Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
+ Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
**What You'll Need:**
+ High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
+ Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and identify any unusual activity.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
+ Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial setting.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possession of a valid Guard Card is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
