Job Description
Join Staffmark as a Manufacturing Technician and put your skills in mechanical systems, 3D printing, and electro-mechanical equipment to work maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing advanced production processes. This role allows you to create and implement blueprints for production and processing of parts utilizing their machines and 3D printers.
Pay: $31.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities includes creating blueprints and products to be produced on 3D printers and electro-mechanical systems. You'll design test fixtures and prototypes, develop procedures, collaborate across teams to solve issues, track maintenance and repairs, analyze defects, and manage parts handling and shipping.
Qualifications:
- ASEE certification or equivalent with 5+ years manufacturing/technical experience preferred
- Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred); 3D printing knowledge a plus
- Experience with mechanical tools and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems
- Familiarity with electronics, machine shop equipment, software, and firmware is a bonus
- Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to sit, walk, talk, use hands, and occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl
- Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment

The first line in trouble shooting and repair of plastic injection molding equipment. In addition, this Technician will foster an environment of continuous improvement and team work.
- Analyze and resolve root causes for ongoing quality issues as they relate to assembly, mold or molding processes including all other supporting technical processes
- Communicate technical status updates to Supervisor Production/Head of Production Unit & Head of Maintenance
- Provide production planning process based on the customer needs, machine assignment, press and mold availabilities
- Build the technical strength of the team through hands on training
MECHANICAL AND ELECTROMECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
- Repair/replace brakes & clutches, gears, belts, sheaves/pulley, chains and sprockets, cams, seals and o-rings, bearings and bushings. Replace couplings and valves (cut-off, pressure relief, etc).
- Troubleshoot/repair/replace, gears, cams, seals, o-rings, bearings, bushings, shafts and motors.
- Troubleshoot/maintain chains and sprockets. Perform basic alignment.

PUMPS SYSTEMS AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
- Troubleshoot/maintain centrifugal, vacuum, gear, diaphragm, positive displacement and metering pumps.
- Perform alignment.
- Maintain heat exchanger and pipe insulation systems.
MECHANICAL OPERATIONS
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks, sheet metal fabrication, pipefitting duties and rigging tasks.
- Perform basic math operations.
