Permanent
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs Epitaxial growth and related technological processes in accordance with instructions from the engineering team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to prepare lot travelers, inspect substrates prior to use, prepare SiC substrates for epi growth, operate reactors and characterization tools, unload wafers (cassettes) on reactors and characterization tools, wafer inspections, enter observations and process records into Database.
  • Monitors and adjusts temperature, time, gas flow, power and other process parameters working with engineering. Maintains accurate records of process parameters.
  • Supports the development and evolution of operating procedures.
  • Supports engineering in other areas such as wafer cleaning and characterization as needed.
  • Participates in FMEA activities.
  • Participates in troubleshooting of Epitaxial growth equipment when malfunctions occur and perform maintenance on and/or replace Epi growth chamber components.
  • Keep epi reactor and characterization areas clean. Actively participates in housekeeping initiatives.
  • Follows all health, safety, environmental, ergonomic, and clean room requirements, regulations, and procedures.

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma with 3 years experiences in related technical field.
  • Experience in Epi and or Characterization preferred.
  • Experience in testing and data analysis, process improvement and equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Computer literate. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, and Internet.

Skills
  • Must be technically inclined with good written, attention to details and mechanical skills.
  • Must be well organized and able to perform several tasks in parallel.
  • Must be computer-literate to operate computer-controlled equipment and make data entry.
  • ITAR compliance requirement: Individual must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork skills, and work with our engineering team.

Working Conditions
  • 100% on site; day shift 6am to 6pm or night shift 6pm to 6am 3 days on 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off with swing day on Wednesday.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work at computer.
  • Must be able to lift 40lb parts.

This role has combined responsibilities for assembling, testing, troubleshooting & maintenance of the crystal growth equipment as well as for preparation & operation of this equipment to manufacture crystals. The work is performed in our hybrid laboratory production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience, skills & interest in electrical & electronic systems, computers & computerized control systems, mechanics & robotics as well as chemistry and chemical manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare raw materials & furnace components for crystal growth
  • Monitor & log process data into a manufacturing database
  • Operate crystal growth equipment for crystal manufacturing as well as equipment troubleshooting purposes.
  • Assist engineering in the assembly & installation of control panels, sensors, PLC's, computers, vision equipment and other components and test these per schematics, manufacturer's instructions and other engineering documents.
  • Monitor & troubleshoot existing equipment to the component level using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other appropriate equipment.
  • Document and report system failures and to engineering & repair, rework or replace components as guided by engineering.
  • Develop maintenance logs, preventative maintenance programs and repair & recovery procedures for various crystal growth systems
  • Support engineering activities with respect to process improvements and equipment design.
  • Assist with day to day crystal manufacturing operations and maintenance of a clean, safe and organized work environment
  • Ensure a safe & collegial work environment and cultivate communicative, collaborative & collegial work relations between various manufacturing and R&D teams.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED with specific vocational training, associates degree or certificates in electrical, electronics or robotics trades or related fields.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment. Factory or facilities maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with chemical batching, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, materials, glass, vacuum technology, coatings or crystal growth a strong plus.
  • Experience reading electrical/ electronic schematics & wiring diagrams as well as user's manuals.
  • Experience operating and/or programming PLC's or electronic process controllers preferred.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Labview, Python or similar a strong plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good fine motor manipulation ability and hand-eye coordination is required. The candidate must be comfortable working with delicate instruments and small, fragile components.
  • Computer literate. Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Confident using electrical hand tools: wire strippers, pliers, crimpers, soldering irons, drills, screw & nut drivers, etc.
  • Confident using electrical test equipment: volt/multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes, power meters, etc.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with coworkers of varying technical levels such as technicians, engineers & scientists.

Position Summary:

This position is to assemble, package and inspect medical devices in accordance with the quality and production standards established by our organization. This includes working with chemicals, machines and measurement equipment. Position Summary:

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organizations products according to specifications and schedules, volume, cost and waste targets, or quality standards.
  • Operates machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
  • Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard or remanufacture products.
  • Troubleshoots problems by contributing to team with input, feedback and/or ideas for improvement.
  • Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be collected and analyzed.
  • Focus on Plastics processing.
  • Higher level job functions may include training peers, assisting in equipment maintenance and leading teams.

M A P is a privately held corporation established in 1973 and is a leading tier one Automotive and Architectural supplier. M A P offers valuable assistance in development, prototyping, testing, and part design. We are searching for Manufacturing Operators at our Easton, PA location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operate machinery and work in a safe manner
  • Cut fiberglass and associated material into appropriate patterns
  • Lift and position fiberglass on feeder board prior to automatic press
  • Operate controls
  • Move finished product to high pressure water jet for final preparation
  • Inspect all materials and finished parts for quality variances
