This is a hands-on position working alongside their team; not an office-based role.This role requires supervision of 8+ employees. This is a full-time salary exempt position to support our production expansion. The expansion will include a shift in our working schedule and the proposed schedule and expectation is that you can manage a team on this schedule: 2-2-3 shift (Week 1: Monday/Tuesday working, Wednesday/Thursday off, Friday/Saturday/Sunday working; Week 2: Monday/Tuesday off, Wednesday/Thursday working, Friday/Saturday/Sunday off).
You will train alongside the current Production leaders supporting our current daytime shift starting at 7:00am, Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays is required per production schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, oversee team responsible for production processes including oversight of the daily workflow, scheduling, responsibility alignment, and completion of assignments to meet production output.
- Leading team and facilitate the organization's strategy for cultivating a fully engaged workforce through training, engagement, motivating, and contributing to team effort.
- Provides performance oversight, safety monitoring, and constructive and timely performance feedback.
- Develops production plans and procedures while driving production performance by establishing daily, weekly, and monthly goals, to ensure that internal and external customer needs are met.
- Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment, troubleshoots issues that arise, notifies maintenance department of equipment problems, and ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Regularly performs verification of production output, quality, volume, and efficiencies according to specifications while preparing analysis to management as needed.
- Create policies or procedures for production activities while identifying issues and opportunities for improvements while partnering with related functional areas to develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost by maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of product movement between manufacturing, warehousing, and ultimately, customer delivery.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- Ensures all required paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
- Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment while ensuring quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
- Participates and owns portion of recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Personal Characteristics:
- 2+ years in a Supervisory capacity with demonstrated successful results.
- 3+ years of experience working in a production or warehouse environment, food production highly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects/tasks.
