**Your Key Responsibilities**
Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking eager Engineers for our manufacturing facility in Joplin, MO. This is a two-year manufacturing leadership development program comprised of four six-month rotations that provide cross-departmental exposure. Each rotation can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico and Canada), including the possibility for international rotations. The first rotation will start in Joplin, MO. Upon graduation of the program, a permanent position in Joplin, MO is guaranteed.
In this manufacturing leadership program, our Engineers.
+ Partner with a mentor who is an experienced professional engineering manager to develop best practices and evolve into a leader at Schaeffler
+ Gain knowledge alongside experts in areas such as production management, quality, supply chain, purchasing, and plant management
+ Trained based on the 70:20:10 model which emphasizes a mixture of hands-on experience, mentoring, and formal training
+ Leadership training and tools to develop leadership skills
+ Executive presentation at the end of each rotation in which their accomplishments are presented to the Executive Board, senior management, mentors and supervisors
+ Company housing for the duration of the program (two years) and a competitive salary and benefits

**Your Qualifications**
For this high-potential development program, we are looking for candidates who are ambitious, creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about leadership and their professional growth.
+ Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering or Engineering Technology
+ Accepting December 2025 or June 2026 graduates
+ 3.0 minimum GPA
+ At least two rotations of relevant co-ops or internships
+ Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
+ Leadership experience or exposure preferred
+ Thorough understanding of engineering principals
+ Excellent Organization and Communication skills
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills
+ Willingness to relocate every 6 months

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control inspector for a Joplin-based machine shop. The Quality Control role ensures that all manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with ISO and AS9000 standards. This position offers weekly pay, benefits, and the opportunity to join a client that provides excellent pay, benefits, and an ESOP program once hired permanent.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections during the manufacturing process to verify compliance with ISO and AS9000 standards
- Perform quality audits and document findings for continuous improvement
- Use precision measuring instruments such as CMMs, calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
- Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to ensure food safety where applicable
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on quality performance metrics
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and corrective actions
- Support the maintenance of quality systems to improve reliability and customer satisfaction
Requirements & Skills
- Prior experience with QA/QC processes and quality audits in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret technical data and use precision measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have the experience required for this job
Physical Demands & Safety
The Quality Control position requires standing for extended periods, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills to work effectively with production teams.
