We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead operations at our growing overhead material handling equipment facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving production efficiency, quality, and team performance across all manufacturing functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production operations in fabrication, assembly, and installation prep
Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians, welders, and assemblers
Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality overhead cranes, hoists, and components
Monitor KPIs and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve workflow
Work with engineering, sales, and service departments to meet customer needs
Uphold a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA compliance
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, steel fabrication, or heavy equipment assembly
Experience in the overhead crane, hoist, or related industry is a plus

A critical member of the Manufacturing Lead Team, the Manufacturing Excellence Manager reports directly to the Director of Production and is expected to play a key role in the development of the overall strategies for Manufacturing Operations. * Spend time "on the floor" to be able to assess the current state of the organization and design appropriate plans/interventions to drive Manufacturing Excellence.
* Benchmark within Kuraray, and externally, to identify ways to enhance Manufacturing Excellence in MonoSol.
Experience
* Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years).
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level (Preferred), Certified Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt
* Proven track record of delivering significant improvements in operational efficiency and process performance using TPM/TPS/Six Sigma.

Working with a team of 3, you will be positioned at a conveyor system to assemble and pack product prepping it for shipment. Each team member is required to rotate each position throughout the shift.
Machine Operator:
Run and operate 2 rigid setup box machines - 1 machine makes the base and 1 machine makes the cover. All operators are required to meet 90% production (which is to make about 20,000 boxes in the shift) and no more than 3% waste. Quality Check is performed regularly with making slight adjustments to the machinery to produce good quality product.
We offer one shift only - - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday with Fridays used for overtime.
