The Manufacturing Master Scheduler, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. The scheduler will assist in all capacities to maintain supply/demand balance relative to labor capacity, externally supplied material lead times and ensure on time delivery to the customer need. Translate program demand plans into ERP system forecasts and then, upon project funding, release executable demand and drive schedule fidelity through to customer delivery. The preferred candidate will be an individual with bias for action, strategic thinking, data analysis, problem solving, exceptional customer focus, communications, and a sound foundation in Material Planning and Production Control practices.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Create program specific forecasts in the Oracle ERP system and support proposal activities by providing scheduling and lead time analysis
+ Review MRP output of time phased requirements, compare against total shop load and standard lead times, adjust forecast as necessary to avoid overloading/constraining work centers or compressing material procurement
+ Communicate need dates for funding/demand release along with schedule commitments back to the program
+ Convert forecast to released system demand upon program authorization
+ Identify supply/demand imbalances and resolve them through collaboration with ISC cross-functional team
+ Re-schedule released demand per agreed upon recovery schedule worked out with production management
+ Prepare and speak to PowerPoint slides highlighting schedule risks and mitigation actions
+ Maintain product family forecasts of funded and un-funded work across all businesses extending out 24-36 months into the future
+ Lead Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning (SIOP) process and report-out meetings to executive leadership
+ Perform data extraction and analysis to determine focus areas of improvement and accurate decision-making.

We are looking for you to join our team as a **Principal Manufacturing Analyst** based out of **Elkridge, MD.**
You will be self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills; and be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers, as well as working in cross-functional teams.
**What You'll Get to Do:**
+ Serve as the primary interface between Production Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Suppliers, Operations Program Management, Production Material Control Specialists, Kitting, and Inventory Management as well as interfacing with Engineering and Quality
+ Provide status of hardware on Programs from the time of initial kit conversion, through manufacturing process, to delivery of hardware to internal and/or external customers
+ SAP metric maintenance, i.e. Aging Orders, and Overdue hours, 'Confirmed not Delivered' orders, floor stock inventory control, and the resolution of material shortages as they're late to open production orders
+ Planning, organizing, and controlling the timely flow of products through the Manufacturing Cell to support both internal and external customer delivery requirements
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; Master's Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
+ Experienced using SAP/ERP or other related systems
+ Experience working in a cross-functional team
+ Experience with computer systems such as Microsoft Office
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance is required
+ U.S. Citizenship required
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related areas
+ Experienced in Operations Business Systems (SAP preferred)
+ Experience in MRP and Production Control
+ Active U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. **Position Overview**
The Manufacturing Controls Engineer is the leader of the Beltsville site digitization and product automation strategy. This role is responsible for partnering with Eaton's Advanced Manufacturing group to implement new technologies, adapt current workflows to improve flow, and lead technology sustainment activities for the site to help Beltsville achieve long-term increases in manufacturing productivity, customer satisfaction, and business growth.
**Essential Functions**
- Implement and support automation systems to improve process efficiency and product quality.
- Lead and assist with system fabrication, equipment selection, and programming for automated systems.
- Develop all technical documentation, including recommended spare parts and preventative maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Ensure automation systems are completed in a timely manner.
- Analyze electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot operational issues, and determine material specifications.
- Engage with vendors and technology suppliers to evaluate and select technology applicable to industrial manufacturing processes.
- Develop business case, application, and theory of operations and prepare justification for senior management.
- Adapt new technologies to legacy processes and machinery.
- Coordinate with business leadership on Industry 4.0 strategy deployment.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Operations.
