TE Connectivity in Greensboro, NC is looking for aManufacturing Engineerto conduct daily audits of the manufacturing processes to ensure all safety, quality, and process standards are being followed. Tooling Improvements and enhancements. Print review. Ensure that the processes run by the manufacturing team are performing at the designed efficiencies. Responsible for improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through the use of the TEOA tools and philosophy. Work closely with the launch organization on the introduction of new products. Ensure that an effective communication with all interested and needed parties to complete projects on time and on budget. Evaluate all projects for effectiveness. Lead and support equipment troubleshooting efforts as they arise with the ability too efficiently and independently work with various U.S. and global suppliers. Maintain and/or support all related process documentation, not limited to but including repair logs, manuals, drawings, and procedures. Support new program launch development efforts for new products, product extensions, and equipment releases into the plants. Participate in product and equipment design reviews for the purpose of developing a robust product and manufacturing process. Prepare and obtain quotes and materials needed for manufacturing equipment changes or improvements. Work from verbal instructions, sketches, blueprints, or other TE departmental input such as TEOA toward process changes or improvements. Be able to work and act in a professional manner with all levels of associates and interface with customers as required. Utilize experience-knowledge of automation and robotics for molding process. Utilize experience with LSR and Thermoplastic Molding process.
**Requirements** :Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.

What You Will Do
·Provide direct technical support in manufacturing areas to maintain production
· Directly support providing documentation for production areas to improve/create Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) or Standard Work (SW)
· Participate in new process and equipment use to learn systems that will be documented to address customer support request cases, other noted countermeasure items, or items noted during Kaizen events
·Support manufacturing projects & other sustainment or New Product Introduction (NPI) support
·Provide manufacturing technical assistance to internal Gilbarco customers (Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing)
· Assist with the development of new workstations, implementation of safety & ergonomic countermeasures, and support the development of documentation to improve Manufacturing Engineering's ability to identify, locate, and respond to encounters in production areas where support is required
· Have significant ongoing interaction and communications with department peers and representatives from other functional groups, i.e. Quality, Maintenance, Design Engineering, production supervisors, and production personnel (External interaction and communications with suppliers and/or vendors may also be required)
· Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
·Associate degree in an Engineering related discipline (Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering Technology, Pre-Engineering, Technology and Management, etc.) preferred, other degrees/courses will be considered
·2 to 4 years manufacturing production experience preferred
· Ability to understand and interpret drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
·Basic troubleshooting skills and component level installation skills
·Good mechanical aptitude required, basic electrical aptitude a plus
·Basic to Intermediate level PC skills and experience with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
·CAD experience a plus

**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the facility.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff members.
+ Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
