Mack Industries is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing all quality control aspects of a precast concrete production facility, ensuring that all manufactured concrete components meet established industry standards and project specifications by conducting thorough inspections, testing materials, implementing quality control procedures, and training staff to maintain consistent quality throughout the production process. This position will require ACI/MCA Level 1 Certification, basic computer skills and willingness to expand on current abilities.
Requirements:Essential Functions
- Perform pre-pour inspections on all forms, reinforcement steel and inserts in a timely manner to maintain optimized workflow
- Look for opportunities to improve materials, processes and products
- Test and inspect material and product at various stages of the production process
- Identify, document, and report any quality problems to production and the QA manager
- Read and interpret product layouts, engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and formula mixes
- Communicate with batch plant daily regarding mix performance and adjust as needed
- Organize and prepare documents for data entry
- Enter data into database software and check to ensure the accuracy of the data
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- Perform supervisory responsibilities for QC technicians
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties
- Willingness to develop new skills and progress current skills

Education and Training
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
