Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the verification of first article inspection, receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection, ensuring acceptance criteria is met before release to subsequent processes or customer. The Quality Control Inspector confirms valid calibration of measuring / testing equipment and or inspection tools prior to performing inspection. The Quality Control Inspector verifies and documents findings of nonconforming materials and parts. The Quality Control Inspector is aware of quality policies, procedures, and process documentation to ensure quality plans and points of inspection as well as customer requirements are met. The Quality Control Inspector performs a variety of tasks interacting with other employees, management, vendors, and contractors.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- First article/part inspection and verification
- Receiving Inspection and verification of required materials certifications
- Verification of in-process inspection and proper accompanying documentation
- Final inspection and associated documentation
- Measuring equipment calibrations and documentation
- Verification of acceptance to the original acceptance criteria after rework has been completed
- Care and proper storage of measuring equipment and tools
- Utilize CSFCO's quality policy, procedures, as well as industry standards pertaining to inspection techniques, equipment requirements, and customer requirements
- Support and follow the company's personnel, safety practices, and the requirements of the quality management system.
- Perform other tasks/duties as required by management.
- Must be familiar with a variety of quality field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must be knowledgeable in procedures pertaining to testing, calibration, and familiar with quality plans, documentation and material/process certificates.
- Read and interpret pipe ISO drawings.
- Must be able to read and communicate in English to understand technical documents, safety procedures, and instructions relevant to job duties. English proficiency is required due to operational and safety communication needs.
- Ability to accurately use and read calipers, micrometers, pit gauges, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate integrity and attention to detail.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years previous quality inspection experience in a fab shop.
- Preferred CWI Experience
- Experience with ASME B31.3, B31.1, Section IX, VII Div 1, and AWS D1.1.
- Experience with Visual and dimensional inspections at fit-up, in-process, and final inspection.
- Experience with qualifying welders and welding procedures.
- Efficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point; and Outlook email.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel while inspecting parts, welds, and equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of tools, inspection equipment, or materials.
- Use of hands and arms for fine motor control, often required when handling precision instruments.
- Good visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) for detecting defects and interpreting technical drawings.
- Adequate hearing ability to communicate effectively in noisy industrial settings and detect warning signals.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including outdoors, confined spaces, or elevated platforms.
- Must wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), such as hard hats, steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
