In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Manager, you will have responsibility for leading the production side of the Cardiac Diagnostic Solutions (CDS) Focus Factory supporting multiple Operating Units. The Brooklyn Center facility supports the design, development, and production of implantable batteries and battery packs used in devices for a variety of Medtronic businesses. In this role you will gain experience with products across Medtronic's portfolio, supporting your development and growth. This role reports to the manufacturing director of battery operations and oversees and directs the work of a team of Production Supervisors.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
• Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have:

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience using lean tools and mechanisms to improve business and manufacturing processes
• Experience in a high volume high mix environment
• SAP and MES systems
• Able to acquire high level of technical knowledge to problem solve issues
• Can work closely with development partners to successfully launch new products
• Versed in Quality Management Systems in a highly regulated industry

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $103,200.00 - $154,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). Position Objective:

As Manufacturing Manager at Wagner Spray Tech, you will be accountable for the assembly, machining, and supporting manufacturing areas, and have overall accountability for safety, quality, on-time delivery, efficiency, and cost. • Provides operational data and insights to support SIOP planning ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment.
• Partner with NPD team in successfully transitioning new product programs into production.
• Understands and communicates business/financial information related to operations.
• Develops and adheres to a budget for the responsible areas.
• Drives root cause analysis and resolution on all forms of loss, i.e., safety, quality, production.
• Promoting engagement, learning, and professional development for direct reports and their teams.
• Developing and deploying training of resources on work processes. This includes owning the cross-training matrix and staffing plans across all production lines.
• Developing and setting goals to assist direct reports and meet goals.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a manufacturing/engineering related discipline OR equivalent years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of manufacturing and assembly production technical job-related experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
• Business management skills, knowledge of lean processes and tools, and strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Full experience with an ERP.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results through visual, metric-oriented management.
• Experience managing multiple New Product Introductions.
• Proven track record of innovation, ingenuity, creativity, attention to detail, ownership, integrity, accountability, and willingness to seek and take on challenges is required.
• General IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, email, and internet).

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply Chain experience.
• SAP experience is highly preferred.
• Prior SIOP experience.

The Mechanical Designer will be a part of the Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing department and assist by taking existing or conceptual designs of new or legacy products, creating SolidWorks models of the product, and overseeing the project through design and manufacturing.
