Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assembly, Test, and Quality Control Engineer to join our team. In this vital role, you will assemble cutting-edge products, conduct thorough testing to ensure they exceed quality standards and specifications, and play a key role in our quality control processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams of electrical, FPGA, optical, mechanical, embedded, and software engineers, you will enhance product performance, troubleshoot challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in our products.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble electronic, optical, and mechanical components that are part of our quantum machines with precision and care, adhering to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting on assembled products to ensure proper operation.

• Production Planning (PP):
• Design and configure production planning processes, including discrete manufacturing workflows such as make-to-stock, make-to-order, and assembly-to-order environments.

Job Description

Summary:

The Manufacturing Inventory Lead will serve as the primary tactical coordinator for vendor fulfillment operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution and issue resolution. This person will act as the first line of support for external vendor partners and internal teams, resolving real-time production and logistics issues, aligning with SLAs, and maintaining consistent communication flow between departments. Their work will allow leadership to focus on structural improvements while improving on-time delivery, vendor accountability, and overall supply chain visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily communication and troubleshooting with key fulfillment and manufacturing vendors.
• Own escalation protocols for fulfillment-related issues (e.g., delays, quality defects, quantity mismatches).
• Collaborate with Inventory, Logistics, and Planning teams to track and verify incoming and outgoing orders.
• Maintain and improve SOPs for vendor fulfillment processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor vendor performance metrics and issue weekly operational summaries highlighting risks and trends.
• Contribute with in partnering with Finance to validate invoice discrepancies, vendor credits, and receiving documentation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, vendor operations, or fulfillment.

Base pay range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between our U.S. team and overseas manufacturers, ensuring product quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

This role is critical to maintaining production integrity , improving vendor communications , and resolving issues at the factory level. The position requires regular international travel and a deep understanding of Chinese manufacturing culture and processes .
