Saxon Aerospace is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to support our client's engineering and production operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, and supporting the integration of new products and equipment across machining, molding, and assembly operations.
This is a Direct Hire Role
Pay Rate: $30- $45 DOE
Day Shift - Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance manufacturing processes for plastic molding , CNC machining , and assembly .
- Create, update, and approve visual work instructions and process documentation .
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S , and Value Stream Mapping .
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan production layouts , tooling , and auxiliary equipment .
- Support the training of production staff and operators on new processes .
- Monitor production for quality assurance , efficiency , and continuous improvement .
- Assist with the introduction of new products , automation systems , and process changes .
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or process manufacturing .
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization .
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or Catia preferred).
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .
- Familiarity with tooling, fixtures , and production layout design .
- Experience in plastic injection molding , machining , or automation is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Work Environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands frequently in a manufacturing setting.
- Exposure to noise , dust , oils , and machinery is expected.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet standard physical job requirements.

**What you'll do.**
In this key role, you will provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program - from initial concept through final assembly. This will involve the application of lean manufacturing principles to ensure the highest quality, most efficient processes and products possible. You will:
+ Provide manufacturing engineering leadership throughout a new model development program, beginning at initial concept through launch at the final assembly facility.
+ Development of tooling and facilities based on product and process.
+ Apply lean manufacturing principles.
+ Lead virtual manufacturing assembly builds.
+ Drive resolution of manufacturing issues.
+ Interface with Design and Release activities.
+ Develop formal assembly process instructions and enter the process sheets into VPS system.

+ Track all open tooling and process issues and drive to closure including meeting all exit criteria deliverables - cycle time, throughput, workstation readiness, etc.

+ Support new model launches. During launches, the position will require extensive travel, standing, and walking in a plant environment.
+ Deliver dimensionally in-spec parts for their respective system. Understand component data and a system impact.
+ Deliver cycle line layouts and work with the assembly plants to have a complete operator/equipment workstation ready for launch.
+ Operate in stressful situations within timing constraints

**You'll have.**
+ Bachelor's degree in mechanical or an equivalent manufacturing engineering
+ Willingness to travel and support launch activities at our North American Assembly plants (USA, Canada & Mexico)
+ Travel is required including co-location at a North American Assembly plant for 9 or more months depending on scale of vehicle launch.
+ 1 or more years of Microsoft Office experience to include Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
+ Up to 40-50% travel required

+ Experience with tooling, process, quality, and or facility equipment in a production environment.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills

As part of our Manufacturing Engineering Project team, the primary function of this position will be to drive the development and execution of corporate strategy and innovation capital projects for Keurig Dr Pepper manufacturing locations. This position will build and manage relationships of internal and external resources to effectively implement project initiatives that drive productivity results, optimize value, and promote growth. This role interacts with individuals from Strategy, Operations, Engineering, Commercial, Beverage Initiatives, and other key Business Units within Keurig Dr Pepper. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related Engineering discipline. This individual will also have experience in developing and executing capital projects in a manufacturing environment. A candidate with Food and Beverage or CPG (Consumer Package Goods) and plant production line experience is considered a plus. Knowledge of high-speed filling, packaging technologies are ideal areas of expertise. PMP Certified, lean methodologies, TPM, and knowledge of key standard work processes are also essential qualities.
