Job Description

Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs. Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.

Department openings include Inventory as well as Surface and Finish production areas. Duties may involve observing data on job trays, RF scanning, order picking, machine operation, lens handling, cleaning and inspection, ensuring movement of jobs throughout the production process, processing specific customer orders and other assigned duties.

The selected candidate will analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plant / production facilities, and equipment layouts; establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Majority of work (approx. 90%) occurs in a production/warehouse environment, with periods of sitting at a desk using a computer and other office equipment. Moderate walking and standing in the warehouse, monitoring inspection and production activities, and interacting with line personnel. Work occurs around machinery with moving parts, moving objects/vehicles; exposure to heat, cold, dampness, humidity, slippery and/or uneven surfaces. As a **Security Officer- Unarmed Aero Patrols** in **Richardson, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to those on site. **What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity and/or potential threats to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
+ Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and following post orders.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
+ Document incidents and daily activities according to established procedures.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
+ Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Must possess a valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
