**Overview**
THE ROLE:
As the Recruiter II, Global Operations, you will play a pivotal role in our global talent acquisition efforts that support our global Manufacturing and Distribution Centers in the U.S. market. You will use various resources and creative recruiting methods to attract highly qualified individuals for high-volume frontline staff and technical/specialized roles. Additionally, you will lead the contingent staffing needs and collaborate with external vendors to meet our evolving business requirements. By establishing solid links with client groups, you will advise, source, recruit, interview, and hire exceptional talent, ensuring our organization has the right people to succeed.

- Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes for a diverse range of positions, from high-volume frontline staff to technical and specialized roles, supporting all aspects of our global operations.

**Qualifications**
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Corning's Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ("LCDs") that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
**The Purpose of This Position**
+ Manufacturing Associates are responsible for raw materials, In- process ware flow, subassemblies, and finished goods used within the cable manufacturing process.
**Duties And Responsibilities**
+ **Work schedule is 12-hour rotations.**
+ First day of rotation mandatory pre-shift meeting/huddle 15 minutes before start of shift.
+ Standing/walking the majority of the shift
+ Tobacco-free facility
+ Beginning of shift check with Production Coordinator regarding assignments and production priorities.
+ Responsible for assembling shop papers, MI's and raw materials prior to start up. Start up and change overs are per standard operating procedure.
+ Monitor lines while running to ensure quality product, perform necessary PQA checks to ensure product is manufactured to specification.
+ Associates are required to report nonconformance.
+ Ensure workspace is 5S ready, clean and orderly.
+ Associates are expected to know performance metrics and work toward targeted objectives.
+ May perform weekly associate maintenance.
+ Associates should proactively report any equipment issues as soon as they become aware.
+ Perform preventive maintenance procedures, may occasionally troubleshoot.
+ Assist RD&E with experiments as requested.
+ Loading and unloading raw materials. Attention to consistent material handling procedures with an awareness of safe material transport according to environmental and hazardous materials protocols.
+ Receiving materials to stock, storing, issuing raw materials and miscellaneous items for production use while maintaining inventory accuracy using cycle counts and daily transactions.
+ Properly label and package reels for shipment to customer.
+ Verify Quality Check paperwork, barcode and data sheets, with reel tag.
+ Physically inspect reel via traverse, damage, and print statement.
+ Work in a team environment to optimize output of quality product, assist others as necessary, and promote safety awareness.

About this Position:

**Overview**
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Manufacturing HR Generalist is responsible for proactively leading all aspects of tactical and strategic HR support for their designated areas . Although serving as the single point of contact for all people related issues within these areas, the HRBP is focused on Recruiting and Staffing, Employee Relations, Policy Interpretation and Implementation, Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Training and Organizational Development.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
+ Deliver practices and results that attract and develop high-potential, diverse talent for the organization. Work with leaders to relate and maintain workforce staffing plans. Recruit, interview, and select associates to fill vacant positions in the specific areas as well as the pre-employment process. Plan and conduct new associate orientation and on-boarding process. Ensure that competent, diverse, and skilled workers are hired and workload levels are appropriate and maintained, and work to minimize turnover. Track retention and assist leaders in developing strategies that maintain and improve retention.
+ Provide coaching and guidance to leaders and associates regarding employment issues in such areas as policy and procedure interpretation/application, dispute resolution, corrective action, leaves of absences and harassment. Coordination and drive of effective employee relations/recognition related activities.
+ Facilitate business change and performance across supported groups through the implementation of an effective people strategy; influence significant business decisions through a close partnership with team leaders and partners.
+ Work with line leaders to ensure that associates are treated in an equitable and consistent manner within company policies and practices. Find the right balance between the business need and associate advocacy. Provide consultation to line leaders on associate engagement strategies.

Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the shift schedule.

**Overview**
**POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:**
The Director, Operations-Winston-Salem will be responsible for Warehouse operations as well as lead key Operations initiatives at the HIM Winston-Salem facility. This role will be expected to develop short- and long-term plans for these areas as well as demonstrate leadership in staff development and creation of strategic operational plans. The role involves developing performance metrics (Safety, Quality, Service, Reliability, Agility, and Cost) to ensure meeting performance targets and driving continuous improvement. This role involves collaborating with other departments to assess processes, operations, and production quality while encouraging a culture and environment of teamwork and a positive, inclusive atmosphere. The Director will report to the VP, Manufacturing.
**Qualifications**
**DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:**
+ Lead warehouse operations and drive manufacturing activities to meet and/or exceed corporate expectations for quality, productivity and customer service. Develop and implement strategies to support current and future growth needs at all levels and to achieve "Best in Class" performance.
+ Implement key initiatives and strategies including staff optimization and best practices for the development of an agile and flexible organization.
+ Lead and develop a continuous improvement culture applying "Lean Enterprise," Six Sigma, SPC, Continuous Improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and make improvements.
+ Develop programs for setting expectations and standards and to implement continuous improvement and cost savings activities. Deliver new technology/concepts. Manage activities and operations safely to highest quality, lowest costs, with on time delivery.

+ Evaluate capacity, resources and staffing to ensure capabilities exist to produce the required products to supply the market.
+ Build effective organizations for high caliber performance through selection and rewards. Establish high standards and accountability through coaching and mentoring to improve potential.
+ Create and maintain an atmosphere of frequent and effective communication to all levels by ensuring pass down and floor level communication is an embedded practice.
+ Establish, deliver and provide training programs to direct team to assure enhancement of their competencies.
+ Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere for achieving the highest safety and quality standards in the facilities.
+ Liaise with other plant functions, including Engineering, Maintenance, Technical Operations R&D, QA, QC, Finance, Transportation, and Planning in the execution of plant objectives and goals.
+ Fiscal responsibility for establishing and managing operating costs to meet or exceed budget guidelines. Responsibility to participate in setting Annual Operating budget(s) within the facility(s).
+ Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory entities and corporate and regional policies are followed.
+ Provide effective reporting for accountability to performance goals. Perform and provide accurate data analysis to help drive decisions to present to management to support existing/new initiatives.
+ Provide support to regional operations/marketing/sales departments to ensure that existing/new product needs are met in an expeditious manner.
+ Lead key initiatives to drive improvements within HIMWS Operations.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Manage the HIMWS warehouse team and other Operations teams, as assigned.
+ Supervise these roles as they pertain to audits, process improvements and improving efficiencies.
+ Work closely with and collaborate with the Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain; this position will have an obligation to ensure that these groups operate as a unified team to provide the expected results of the facility and adhere to cGMP's and Herbalife specifications.
