- Coordinate with the preset team on proper tool setup techniques

- Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards for the site
- Make decisions within the limits of general standards or procedures
- Report near misses and incidents to the site manager and cooperate with investigations

- Design manufacturing processes based on existing stable processes

- Design and maintain characteristic accountability plan for legacy and new products

A Senior Packaging Engineer will lead initiatives across BPS business with our manufacturing team in a GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical or cleanroom setting. **JOB SUMMARY:**
Textron Aviation - AeroMotion is looking for an intern to use and develop their manufacturing and industrial knowledge. Our interns are highly motivated with great communication skills that contribute to aircraft build plans, production tooling, and manufacturing processes for components and assemblies.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
A Manufacturing Engineer Intern may work projects, including but not limited to: redesigning tooling to improve operators' work environment, automating processes, improving facility layouts for product flow, creating reference documents and standard practices, implementing quality improvements, and exploring new equipment and software. There will be exposure to work in a wide variety of disciplines such as lean manufacturing, electrical, computer science, aircraft environmental systems, structures, and robotics.
**Qualifications**
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:**
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in:
+ Manufacturing Engineering
+ Industrial Engineering
+ Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MET)
+ Mechanical Engineering
+ Robotics Technology
+ Other related fields
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Collaborates and easily gets along in team-based environments
+ Strong mechanical aptitude
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Computer Proficiency (MS Office, CAD, etc.)

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
