**Manufacturing Engineer**
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, to join our Shelby team!
As our Manufacturing Engineer you will write CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM. Your programming will consist of a high level of complexity; typically, programming for Machining Centers & Mills, but may include complex surface, and 5-axis tool paths. You will verify CNC programs using Vericut, create Renishaw probing routines and Macro B programs. You will also develop processes, routing, and tooling documentation. In addition, you will support projects improving operating income through projects to reduce cycle times, scrap, tooling costs and other related productivity areas. Other responsibilities include interfacing with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products, estimate manufacturing cost, and determines time standards. You will also have good written and oral communication skills.

**Your Challenge**
+ Write CNC programs for Machining Centers and Mills using Siemens NX CAM, program verification using Vericut.
+ Create Renishaw probing routines and Macro B programs.
+ Tool selection, fixture design and provide technical support for machining processes.
+ Create and update manufacturing standard procedure, work instructions, which defines specific manufacturing processes.
+ Performs various operational or methods analyses related to labor standards and reviews product/project flow data, equipment, and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity, and reducing production unit cost.
+ Assist in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements and performs as technical liaison with other engineering personnel or program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.
+ Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct review of engineering drawings prior to release.
+ Provides technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, feasibility studies.

+ Experience with CAM programming CNC multi (5)-axis machining centers and exotic materials, Siemens NX CAM preferred

Danfoss in Forest City, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Manager to join our team. The Manufacturing Engineer Manager isresponsiblefor leading the engineering function in a high-volume & high-mix extrusion and hose manufacturing facility. This role drives continuous improvement, leads capital projects,supportsnew product launches, and ensures processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with customer and quality standards. The Manufacturing Engineer Manager works cross-functionallyto optimize extrusion processes, braiding, coiling, and downstream operations tosupportproduction goals and plant transformation efforts. This role reports to the Forest City Plant Director.
**Job Responsibilities**
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing, process, and manufacturing engineers.
- Drive process improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.
- Manage capital projects from concept through execution, including equipment installation, layout optimization, and vendor coordination.
- Supportnew product launches and ensure manufacturing readiness through DFM, trials, and SOP development.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, SCM, and operations to solve complex technical challenges.
- Oversee engineering change processes, documentation updates, and standard work implementation.
- Ensure engineering compliance with regulatory, environmental, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in root cause analysis (RCA), PFMEA, control plans, and corrective actions.
- Track key KPIs such as OEE, scrap, downtime, and productivity - and lead actions to improve them.
- Maintain a strong focus on employee development, mentoring, and succession planning.

Qualifications
Required (basic) qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles
- Proven project management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Proficiency with CAD, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Extrusion or hose manufacturing
- Facilities maintenance and management
- Experience with braiding, coiling, or vulcanizing equipment
- Capital project or plant layout experience
- SAP experience

**Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly**
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Shelby team!
As **our** Manufacturing Engineer you will performs various routine analyses, design and/or assembly related to manufacturing projects. You will develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, and sub assemblies. You will interface with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products. You will estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards and make recommendations for pooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.

**Your Challenge**
+ Establishes Manufacturing process flow and work instruction. Create and update manufacturing standard procedures, which defines specific manufacturing processes.
+ Performs various operational or methods analyses related to labor standards and reviews product/project flow data, equipment and labor requirements for use in conducting manufacturing operations, increasing productivity and reducing production unit cost.
+ Assist in the evaluation of engineering changes and/or other specifications requirements and performs as technical liaison with other engineering personnel or program management, finance, design, quality, procurement, inspection, and production.
+ Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products and conduct review of engineering drawings prior to release.
+ Assembly tool / fixture design.
+ Develops and implements manufacturing engineering procedures for assembly and paint processes.
+ Provide technical support for assembly, test and paint processes.
**What You Bring**
+ CAD experience- Siemens NX 1980 v. 2000 or later preferred.
+ Must be a US Citizen.
+ Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
+ Demonstrates mechanical and technical knowledge with the ability to resolve and provide solutions.
+ Knowledge of basic electronic and mechanical assembly principles, Aerospace preferred.
+ MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Exchange).
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focus attitude.
+ BS or AS Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or technically related field preferred.
+ Minimum five (5) years' experience in a metals-assembly manufacturing environment preferred.

Our Shelby, NC site is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team!
This Manufacturing Engineer (Special Processes) provides technical support of surface treatment and plating operations. You will assist in gaining and maintaining aerospace surface treatment approvals and will be responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining systems and procedures in support of the Special Processing department.

**Your Challenge:**
+ Develop, prepare, and maintain plating manufacturing process routings and process sheets.
+ Under general direction creates the design and implementation of plating racks, masking, fixtures, and tools to support processes.
+ Develop and implement manufacturing engineering procedures.
+ Implement and maintain work labor standards records, including engineering and estimation of run times for plating manufacturing processes.
+ Implementing continuous improvement of processes to provide most economical means of production.

**What You Bring:**
+ Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Engineering preferred, or technically related field experience considered.
+ Must be a US Citizen.
+ Experience with following special processes: Cadmium plating, Cadmium-Titanium plating, Chromium plating, Nickel plating, Zinc-Nickel, Passivation, Anodize and Chem Film application.
+ Hands-on application of organic coatings.
+ ACAS, Aerospace Coatings Application Specialist Certification preferred.
+ CEF, Certified Electro Plating Finisher and CAF, Certified Aerospace Finisher certification from the AESF preferred.
+ Proficiency in Truechem software applications
+ Proficiency in computer aided design applications
+ Knowledge of process verification and troubleshooting methods.
+ Ability to interpret chemical processing specifications and drawings.
+ Aerospace special processing background preferred.
