JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the assessment of training needs within the site's Operations department (pouching/packing, manufacturing, and warehouse) and the creation, execution or delegation, and delivery of training solutions to meet the needs of the Operations department. Accountable for training delivery, Operations on-the-job (OJT) tracking, and document control activities, systems, and programs to support the Operations department's safety, quality, sustainability, and production goals. Owns training programs such as new employee orientation and initial training for Operations employees, training recordkeeping systems for Operations OJT, training-related investigations, and skill enhancement trainings at the site. Partners with the QA and EHS functions on document control and audit preparation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Partners closely with HRBP, Production Supervisors, and Warehouse Supervisor to determine their training needs and functions and delivers training solutions to meet these needs, with specific focus in the following areas:
* Coordination and delivery of skill enhancement training to include technical skill and soft skill training
* Leads in the development and administration of pipeline programs for skilled positions including ATL, Vacation Relief, Maintenance, and Electrical technicians
* Partners with site HRBP in coordinating and executing Operations candidate interviews and Operations employees onboarding and initial training. Responsible for completing boot inventory and assigning lockers to new employees.
* Owns Production and Warehouse on-the-job training tracking
* Accountable for creating and maintaining an OJT system for the Operations department
* Partners with QA team to update site training tracking system with OJT records
* Accountable for creation and maintenance of Operations Skills Matrix
* Partners with Operations area leadership to assess area skill set and build/execute training plans to ensure healthy talent pipeline and skill build in each area
* Accountable for creating and maintaining trainee and trainer evaluations. Provides timely feedback from evaluations to individuals, area leadership, and site HRBP.
* Accountable for leading Operations failure investigations related to training and developing and executing CAPAs identified through investigations

QUALIFICATIONS
* Requires a minimum of two years related experience
* Ability to present and teach various training topics. Comfortable in front of different sized groups of trainees
* Ability to lead a cross-functional team in setting and executing action plans, setting metrics, and tracking results
* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
* Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
* Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
* Comply with all safety and quality policies, practices, and procedures. Report all safety incident, including near misses to supervisor immediately
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

TYPICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
* May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. office equipment or light traffic).

* May be exposed to heat and/or cold, including outdoor environment.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
* Moderate day/overnight travel (5%), occasional US and international travel may be required.

Job Purpose
Watson Metal Masters is actively seeking an Engineering Manager to join our expanding team. Watson Metal Masters, a family-oriented company incorporated since 1995, stands as a leader in the stainless-steel tank industry renowned for their high-quality stainless-steel tanks in various sizes and configurations.
The Engineering Manager is a crucial member of our Engineering team, overseeing all engineering functions, including the supervision of the CAD Design team. This role involves managing project quotations, customer specifications, design calculations, manufacturing standards, and code design requirements. The Engineering Manager interfaces with manufacturing, ensures design accuracy, and contributes to process improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage engineering functions, ensuring adherence to design standards, project quotations, and customer specifications.
- Directly oversee the CAD Design team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of design projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate accurate project quotations based on design calculations, considering customer requirements and established manufacturing and code design standards.
- Conduct thorough reviews of engineering drawings, cut sheets, and bills of material to verify accuracy, compliance with standards, and quality assurance before initiating the manufacturing process.
- Actively participate in weekly production meetings with each department to discuss open orders, track progress, and address any challenges.
- Lead efforts in creating and implementing new and improved design and manufacturing methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness in project execution.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and other relevant guidelines in the design and manufacturing process.

Qualifications
Education
- Four-year Engineering degree is required.
Experience
- 5-8 years of industry experience in Stainless Steel tanks.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an engineering-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years design drawing checking experience.
- Experience with ASME Section VIII, Div.1 engineering design calculations for tank element sizing is preferred.
- Proficiency in tank design principles including internal pressure and/or vacuum, wind and seismic design, heat transfer, agitation, process engineering, and structural analysis.
- Thorough understanding of CAD standards and ability to customize AutoCAD and Inventor for improved workflow.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated project management skills.

+ Has overall responsibility for the management and execution of the Quality Control Management Program
+ Implementing, and assuring that both contractor and subcontractor personnel follow the requirements of the Quality Control Plan
+ Monitoring the performance of the Quality Control (QC) activities in all other work centers covered by the task order and provide remedial training as necessary to the responsible personnel at other locations.
**Qualifications:**
+ Must have minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in Quality Control evaluation and reporting in the fields of construction or facility management work.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality control evaluation working in comparable size healthcare facilities.
+ Familiarity of ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and execution
+ Two (2) TJC Surveys is desirable
+ Experience utilizing DMLLS Software is desirable.
+ Must be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the PWS, TJC, NFPA, EPA, and OSHA codes, regulations, and standards.
+ Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Job DescriptionUnder direction of the Quality Control Supervisor, using standard processes and continuous improvements, the Quality Control Inspector tests components, identifies discrepancies in parts and products, and documents findings in a timely and efficient manner that meet the quality standards to ensure the delivery of world-class products to Tyler Customers.
1. Perform inspections of raw materials and work-in-process parts in all areas of manufacturing and at various stages of the production processes.
2. Perform visual and dimensional inspection with tight tolerance of 1st articles and set up parts to conform to current standard requirements and engineer drawings.
3. Document and report accurate results and maintain records of all inspections performed.
4. Identify and put on hold all non-conforming raw materials, parts, and products, segregate and document findings.
5. Test the performance of clamp assemblies and couplings to determine compliance to company and regulatory requirements in terms of Pre-Torque, Torque, etc. Record and report results of tests performed.
6. Report and maintain constant communication with the Quality Control Manager and/or Supervisor on all quality-related issues in daily production.
7. Communicate and work closely with the concerned team members (Lead, Machine Operator, Mechanic, etc), and make recommendations for corrective actions on any materials, parts, and products that do not meet quality requirements.
8. Participate in trials resulting from modifications in machine parts (die) and settings, new raw materials, processes, and machines through standard inspection and testing.
9. Work with Quality Control Engineer to maintain calibration for test fixtures and tooling, according to required specifications.
10. Assist with daily production operations when required.
11. Keep work area clean and organized.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Lead.
