Required Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Engineering or Business management. At least 8 years relevant manufacturing experience, including experience in a similarly regulated industry. Experience leading engineering teams. Knowledge and experience of relevant business management systems. (Microsoft and other software systems, GMP, Lean, 5S and Six Sigma methodologies.) Experience in high volume manufacturing Experience with process qualification and validation within a regulated Quality System environment Knowledge and experience in the application of SPC and related statistical techniques. Preferred Engineering degree with post grad qualification Medical device industry experience Training in project management, experiment methodology, Six Sigma, DFSS, or other related engineering topics. Experience with continuous improvement, maintaining Configuration control, line balancing, and Kanban practices. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes & equipment for high volume production of discrete products. Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered.
