The Manufacturing Technician will support prototyping, 3D printing, soft goods design and repair, electronic and mechanical component fabrication, and large-scale mockups or equipment builds. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, adherence to NASA workmanship standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
**Key responsibilities include:**
+ **Manufacturing:** Operate CNC machines in the manufacturing and assemble protective foam assemblies to ensure the safe transport of flight hardware
+ **Prototyping and Fabrication:** Provide hands-on support for prototyping, 3D printing, and the fabrication of soft goods, electronic, mechanical, and large-scale mockups or equipment builds.
+ **Technical Engineering Support:** Perform technical tasks as outlined in work authorizing documents, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.
+ **Cable and Electronic Component Fabrication:** Fabricate cables and electronic components in accordance with NASA-recognized workmanship standards, including soldering, harness and cable assembly, staking, and conformal coating.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Proficient in reading and implementing requirements from engineering drawings, work orders, and related documentation.
+ Familiarity with the engineering drawing process and tool calibration.
+ General knowledge of mathematics and computer science.

+ Proficiency in computer-aided drafting (CAD) software.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in mockup fabrication for the NASA community.

+ Proficiency in printed wiring board (PWB) population using various soldering techniques (through-hole and surface mount).
+ Electronics troubleshooting expertise.

+ Experience in running and programming additive manufacturing systems.
+ Proficiency in Creo and Simplify3D software for design and manufacturing applications.

We are hiring a Supervisor of Reliability and Projects in our Pasadena, TX and Deer Park, TX Asian food plants! In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing large-scale capital projects and enhancing equipment reliability at our manufacturing site. You will also focus on developing and implementing strategies to improve asset availability and performance, while providing leadership and support to your reliability technical team.
Responsibilities:
+ Supervise engineering projects, ensuring project design, budgets, schedules, justifications and eventual execution are followed and completed, with collaboration from our corporate engineering team.
+ Contribute to the development of capital requests and cash-flow forecasts, and then assist in identifying and managing these capital expenses, selecting equipment, and overseeing project timelines.
+ Oversee the creation and improvement of manufacturing instructions, preventative maintenance plans, and reliability standards.
+ Support the implementation of PDM and RCM methodologies, including SAP PM Module, Planning & Scheduling, Red Zone, and Wonderware MES Systems.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred but requisite experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or higher level Reliability engineer/technician can be in lieu of a degree.
+ 5+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record in supervising engineering projects and supporting multi-unit operations projects with capital spends up to $1 million.
+ Strong leadership abilities, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to directly involve hourly operators and mechanics in the project process.
+ Proficiency with CAD systems and a thorough understanding of engineering design, construction, and installation standards. Six Sigma knowledge is preferred.
The base salary range for this position is $1,750 - 136,250 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
