**What you'll do:**
Eaton's Aerospace Division is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, at our Orchard Park, NY facility. The Manufacturing Engineer position will support manufacturing cells of new and existing products. Responsible for managing process documents, tooling and fixturing for programs, driving continuous improvement by utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, performing ergonomic assessments and providing typical Manufacturing Engineering rigor required for Aerospace Industry product realization.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Learn and implement Safety, Ergonomics, and Management of Change activity in support of site safety goals.
- Generate and maintain Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Work Instructions
- Identify when/where there is a need for standard or special gauging, and special equipment/tooling for production
- Drive First Pass Yield (FPY) and Overall Process Effectiveness (OPE) improvement
- Work with a multifunctional team including Continuous Improvement and the Tool Design Group to develop tooling and fixtures to improve work flow, though-put, and quality
- Provide timely support in resolving manufacturing issues
- Assist in developing Work Cell Design, Integration and Validation
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce waste and variation in processes focused on improving KPIs
- Support 5S and visual management efforts in manufacturing areas
**Qualifications:**
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree, in Engineering or Industrial/OperationsTechnology, from an accredited institution.
-Minimum of 1 year of professional experience, in a Manufacturing environment.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
1. 2. Performs mechanical maintenance, service and repairs to production equipment. May perform basic electrical and controls troubleshooting.
3. Performs preventative and unscheduled maintenance duties on equipment.
4. May assist manufacturing engineers in the qualification, debugging, and repair of equipment, including nonroutine assignments and technical support.
5. Ensures appropriate functionality, and operation of semi-automated and automated systems.
6. Performs troubleshooting of moderate complexity; repairs, modifies and maintains systems and/or equipment.
7. May derive and carry out testing methods and/or interpret drawing and specifications.
8. Responsible for communicating status of investigation activities to appropriate department stakeholders.
9. Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tools and correct equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues.
10. May design, recommend, assemble, and install equipment/apparatus and processes for product fabrication, research and development or analysis and testing.
11. Contributes to the development and compliance of ISO and GMP quality system.
12. Under supervision, performs assignments of moderate complexity; receiving instructions on the method of execution, and specific expected results.
13. Documents tasks, PM results and or corrective actions in CMMS.
14. Performs other functions as required

• Manufacture Cell Therapy Products: Perform end-to-end production activities for CAR-T and other advanced cell therapies in a cGMP-compliant cleanroom setting, following strict protocols and aseptic techniques.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in a science-related field; or
