The Manufacturing Technician (MFG) or 'Batch Maker' is responsible to perform all phases of product blending for all approved products manufactured at the site. Responsibilities include all aspects of working in a GMP environment. The position works under exacting standards of precision, safety, and productivity while under minimal supervision.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for the manufacturing of all formulations including products for direct transfer to filling lines, as well as, pilot batches to support R & D efforts.
- Capable of operating blending equipment in a safe and efficient manner to maintain quality through adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Participate in root cause assessments of all safety, product/process, quality, and productivity issues and customer complaints, as appropriate, ensuring that effective corrective action is identified and implemented to meet objectives.

About the role!
Your starting pay is $20.58 and earn more with shift premiums. Manufacturing Operators work on different shift patterns – It's not a M-F shift but you still get 2 consecutive days off with a 5 day work week.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
Processing loading chemicalsinto large stainless-steel blenders, using an equipment operation interface topreblend/mill/postblend, monitoring automated processes, troubleshooting
Packaging preppingmaterials, packing out powder into containers (barrels, buckets, bottles etc.),palletizing filled containers
Cleaning breakingdown/setting up equipment, hooking up hoses/piping using gaskets/clamps,spraying down rooms, loading equipment into parts-wash, operating andmonitoring automated cleaning
Computer Use must have basiccomputer skills
Documentation the ability toread and write legibly/clearly/accurately in logbooks in English.
The process is standard, buteach batch of powdered product is unique, and the length of manufacturing timewill vary. Therefore, no two days are the same!
