THE WORK
This Manufacturing Engineering Asc. position will support our electronic assembly area in the production of complex circuit card assemblies and the systems they are integrated into. This role will be required to translate design requirements in the form of manufacturing drawings, CAD data, and industry specifications into comprehensive manufacturing instructions for use by manufacturing personnel. You will provide daily hands on support to manufacturing in the assembly of complex circuit card assemblies, sub- assemblies and box level final assemblies. You must have the ability to read and analyze complex technical drawings and CAD models and then create written and graphical instructions from this information. This role will interface with other engineering disciplines, program management, and manufacturing to accomplish our production goals.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline. (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, etc.)
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Engineering for composite, mechanical, or electrical assembly operations (perhaps in an internship or school project)
- Basic knowledge in engineering approach to design for manufacturability, production performance assessments, and manufacturing flow optimizations
**Desired Skills:**
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Process documentation & technical writing
- Manufacturing Execution Software (MES) experience, ideally SAP

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. As a test technician, you will play a crucial role in support of our JSF F35 product line. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing top-level and subassembly testing activities.
- Conducting tester certification and calibration.
- Troubleshooting test failures for production and field return assets.
- Performing acceptance testing in accordance with documented procedures.
- Populating test logs and data sheets.
- Compiling As-Built Lists (ABL).
- Generating Quality Notifications for hardware deficiencies.
- Documenting issues with Special Test Equipment (STE).

- Experience writing detailed test results reports.
- Familiarity with basic troubleshooting protocols to experience troubleshooting circuit card assemblies down to the component level using special test equipment, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other evaluation tools/methodologies.
- Read and understand drawing, schematics, blueprints, and technical publications
- Strictly adhere to Quality procedures and proficient in MS Office
**Desired Skills:**
- Knowledge of and the ability to implement 6S and flow principles
- Work under general supervision and have the ability to multi-task and adapt to change
- 2 year degree in electronics engineering technology or equivalent degree / experience
- Experience with thermal and/or vibration testing using fixtures and chambers
- Experience participating in RMS Operations Excellence Teams (OET)
- Knowledge of SAP
