This role will be responsible for driving the implementation and integration of digital tools and data systems across our engineered-to-order manufacturing site. Leading Manufacturing Execution System (MES) initiatives, establishing data analytics infrastructure, and automating operational reporting to enable data-driven decision-making throughout the plant will be essential for this position.

**Key Responsibilities:**
Lead the integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that will enable real-time tracking of production output, labor hour allocations, and job status visibility across the plant.
Develop and maintain systems to collect, analyze, and visualize operational data from various departments (production, engineering, planning, etc.).
Partner with operations, engineering, and IT to align digital tools with business needs.
Design and deploy automated dashboards and reports that replace manual data collection.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across connected systems.
Lead digital transformation by analyzing production workflows firsthand to identify high-impact opportunities for digital enhancements that support operational goals.
Partner with Lean Manufacturing team to reduce waste and improve efficiencies through digital solutions.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on digital systems, process improvement, or data analytics.
+ Proven experience implementing MES and ERP integrations
+ Strong programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI, or similar)
+ Familiarity with databases, APIs, and system connectivity
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
**Desired Characteristics:**
+ Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

*Must be able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical drawings / schematics.
*Uses the Company's electronic document control system to access necessary technical drawings, specifications, and or procedures.

Job Description Summary
This role will be responsible for Quality support to production during the second shift. This includes in-process inspection of circuit breaker cabinets in wiring, fully assembled breakers before test, and shipping inspection. This position will also perform investigations on test lab failures and disposition/evaluate dielectric cleanout filters. Another function of this role will be to perform quality improvement projects and actions as directed. This position will report to the Senior production quality manager and receive daily direction, projects, and actions.

+ Perform Shipping inspections on orders before they ship.
+ Support production, inventory, and test teams on any quality issues or problems.

+ Tracks and expedites orders to ensure delivery schedules are met and part shortages are resolved
+ Advises Production Departments of delivery status and identifies risks. Communicates accurate information to production in order to provide accurate and timely updates.
