**Pay Rate**
_The pay rate for this job is $15 - $17 / hour._ _This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. **What You May do in Manufacturing and Productions:**
+ **Production Worker:** Support manufacturing processes by producing products, operating machinery, and performing quality checks
+ **Assembly Worker:** Assemble components on an assembly line and inspect product to ensure high quality
+ **Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector:** Inspect materials to ensure consistency and integrity, and maintain, test and troubleshoot all QA devices
+ **Machine Operator:** Operate machines needed based on work orders and inspect products for defects and machines for malfunction
+ **Material Handler:** Identify, pull, pack, crate and load products

+ Experience in manufacturing and production, preferably in one or more of the mentioned sectors
+ Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects

Responsibilities include:
- Operate machinery and work in a safe manner
- Cut fiberglass and associated material into appropriate patterns
- Lift and position fiberglass on feeder board prior to automatic press
- Operate controls
- Move finished product to high pressure water jet for final preparation
- Inspect all materials and finished parts for quality variances
- Perform daily "5-S" responsibilities

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Focal point for review and approval of Supplier First Article Inspections; ensure procured product meets drawings, specifications, processes, and Purchase Order requirements.
+ Focal point for Product Release activities including performing Self Release audits and Source Inspection at Honeywell and/or supplier sites.
+ Coach and train suppliers on Honeywell systems and Honeywell requirements
+ Support review of supplier systems and processes to identify risks and recommend systemic actions including but not limited to supplier APQP and PPAP deliverables
+ Participate in creation and review of PFMEA, Control Plan and other APQP deliverables.
+ Support suppliers and/or engineering to resolve concerns relating to production hardware compliance with Honeywell requirements,
+ Support robust RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action), QNs (Quality Notifications) and SCARS (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) processes to eliminate non-conformances
+ Support Rapid Containment and Corrective Actions on Supplier Caused Customer Escapes (SCCE)
+ Support, plan, deploy and monitor Supplier initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures. Support supplier, internal and regulatory audits as required.
+ Lead or support continuous improvement efforts related to SQE organization processes, Quality Measures, Productivity, Escapes, and supplier FAI First Pass Yields.
+ Role involves travel to supplier sites and Honeywell facilities as needed.
+ Ability to meet physical requirements (vision test, lift up to 20 lbs., walking/standing for extended periods)
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
+ 5+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering or manufacturing
+ 2+ years of experience working with suppliers or in a manufacturing environment, including hands-on use of GD&T and inspection techniques.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $89,600 - $12,000.
