**SALARY:** $27.00 per hour for first 8 hours; next 4.25 hours paid at 1.5 rate of $0.50 per hour.

**SHIFT:** 12.25 hour shifts 3 days on/3 days off. Rotate day/night shift every six weeks. 5:45am-6:00pm/5:45pm-6:00am.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Work in a high-speed manufacturing environment
+ Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and efficiency
+ Perform quality, maintenance, and housekeeping checks and record numerical results in various computer system programs
+ Analyze process data to make decisions on equipment maintenance and process improvement activities
+ Adhere to plant safety and sanitation requirements; complete assigned work safely and efficiently per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
+ Assist with process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodology including root cause analysis, process flow maps, etc.
+ Clearly document and communicate maintenance and quality events using computer reporting systems
+ Cross-training opportunities available to maximize your earnings and expand your technical knowledge
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Mechanical troubleshooting/maintenance experience required. Successful candidates typically have three or more years of experience in the below:
+ Proficient knowledge of precision measurements and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to identify a problem and use analytical skills to identify the root cause and implement sustainable solutions
+ Knowledge of safety policies and procedures required (e.g. lock out /tag out, confined space entry, etc.)
+ High-speed manufacturing or packaging facility experience
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
+ The ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds
+ Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist. Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds

**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

The Quality Control Inspector position reports to the QA Manager. The QC Inspector is responsible for conducting visual, dimensional, and process inspections during the manufacturing of high voltage transformers and DC rectifiers. This includes inspection of coil winding, VPI processes, lamination stacks, welding, and the assembly of transformer active parts into the tank. The inspector ensures product compliance with engineering drawings, quality standards, ISO 9001:2015 requirements, and customer specifications before the equipment is released for testing or shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections at defined stages of production to ensure conformance to specifications and drawings.
- Inspect coil windings, VPI-treated coils, and lamination stacks for quality, alignment, and integrity.
- Oversee and document the landing of core and coil assemblies into the transformer tank, ensuring dimensional and mechanical compliance.
- Inspect welded components of transformer tanks and frames for defects such as cracks, undercut, porosity, and ensure compliance with weld symbols and specifications.
- Ensure traceability of components and correct application of identification tags, part numbers, and nameplates.
- Accurately complete and maintain inspection records, checklists, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) in alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Support and participate in internal and external audits related to ISO 9001:2015.
- Report and escalate non-conformities and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Verify compliance with documented procedures, work instructions, and quality plans as required by the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
- Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the maintenance of a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

- 2+ years in technical training in mechanical inspection control preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the inspection of power transformers or high-voltage rectifier systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of quality audits, process control, and internal non-conformance tracking.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma environments.
- Proficient in technical drawing interpretation and mechanical assembly fit-up.
- Proficient in weld symbol reading weld inspection criteria.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 principles, documentation requirements, and audit readiness.
- Ability to work objectively.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications (Excel, Access & Word).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lifting up to 50lbs.
