JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety, quality, teamwork, and efficiency

Perform quality, maintenance, and housekeeping checks and record numerical results in various computer system programs

Analyze process data to make decisions on equipment maintenance and process improvement activities

Adhere to plant safety and sanitation requirements; complete assigned work safely and efficiently per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Mechanical troubleshooting/maintenance experience required. Successful candidates typically have three or more years of experience in the below:

Proficient knowledge of precision measurements and pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to identify a problem and use analytical skills to identify the root cause and implement sustainable solutions

Monitor the quality of components being produced and clearly communicate to supervisory team any issues that threaten the quality of product.
Detailed Description:
• Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices
• Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality
• Regulate/shut down equipment during emergency situations or as directed by supervisory personnel.
• Work with injection molding and operate assembly machinery in a Cleanroom and Softwall environment.
• Draw samples of products and conduct quality control tests to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring devices, microscopes, gauges, or calipers
• Accurately record operating data, such as process conditions, test results or instrument readings as it is collected
• Communicate information to supervisors, co-workers, and technicians as required.
• Maintain supplies by checking stock, anticipating and requesting supplies needed.
• Maintain quality standards and perform continuous quality checks to ensure that products meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements by conducting in-process inspection, line clearance, completing production records and continually monitoring the process
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations and report any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment
• Participate in product and equipment investigations, report and investigate non-conformities
• Read production orders and communicate with coworkers in order to determine machine and equipment settings and adjustments, and supply and product specifications
• Remove minor jammed materials from machines and readjust components as necessary to resume normal operations
• Assemble cartons for packaging as required during manufacturing operations.
• Meet company attendance standards
• Perform recycling procedures and other duties as necessary. (Sort, transfer, cleaning, control waste and recycling throughout the facility)
• Housekeeping and sanitation as needed or requested
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical school or related experience.
• Detail oriented, rigorous, analytical, reactive and good interpersonal skills
Skills/Abilities
• Worked and operated assembly machinery and computers in a Clean Room Environment.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, and bend during performance of expected duties.
• Basic computer literacy
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the required main language needed for a job for both instructional and safety reasons
