The Roof Observer will maintain a presence at the construction site to ensure and confirm that the roofing contractor is compliant with the contract documents, approved submittals, schedule, and safety procedures. The Roof Observer is responsible for completing daily quality and safety reports among other submittals throughout the week.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain a presence at the construction site and interact daily with roofing contractors and client representatives, coordinating site requirements per job specifications.
+ Take photographs of job-site progress and provide daily documentation and reporting.
+ Ensure the roofing contractor's compliance with the contract documents.
+ Complete and submit daily quality and safety reports.
+ Inform the Interstate Project Manager of quality issues and safety violations by the contractor.
+ Ensure incomplete work is finished prior to the final inspection.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
+ Experience in Roofing Inspection and Quality Control.
+ Ability to coordinate projects efficiently.
+ Minimum of 2 years experience with residential or commercial roofing, including demo, inspection, or shingling.
+ At least 1 year experience using an iPad.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with insurance companies is preferred.
Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based but may require visits to the field to meet with clients.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to collaborate with our engineering and production support teams. The role involves evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, product design, fabrication, tooling, assembly, and quality control. You will justify and implement capital projects to enhance productivity, quality, and safety, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing processes, CNC programming, tooling, and equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with engineering and production support teams to enhance manufacturing methods, product design, fabrication, tooling, assembly, and quality control.
+ Justify and implement capital projects aimed at improving productivity, quality, and safety.
+ Drive continuous improvement efforts, focusing on equipment troubleshooting, procurement of tooling/fixtures, and facility supplies for production support.
+ Conduct machine risk assessments and upgrade equipment guarding.
+ Design, implement, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, CNC programming, tooling, and equipment.
+ Lead corrective action teams to identify root causes of production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
+ Provide production guidance through hands-on floor support, develop work instructions, and resolve problems in real-time.
+ Develop and update drawings for tooling and fixtures.
+ Assist in developing, implementing, and sustaining safety programs to ensure effective risk control and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
+ Utilize lean tools to drive initiatives focusing on product flow, visual management, 6S, TPM, SMED, and productivity improvement.
+ Develop and execute key performance measures to evaluate equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance program effectiveness.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum three years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required; 5-8 years of experience overall preferred.
