Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their advanced production facility in Des Moines, Iowa . This role is crucial for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles, a deep understanding of manufacturing technologies, and a proven ability to lead complex process improvement projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative manufacturing solutions that drive productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to production, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
  • Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
