Job Summary
The Controller directs the accounting practices of City Brewing’s Latrobe plant, by ensuring all financial records for the location are compliant with all relevant company policies and GAAP standards, and developing appropriate reporting to guide the plant leadership team. This individual leads a team of operational accounting experts who are collectively responsible for assisting the Plant Manager and HR Director in identifying cost reduction opportunities, tracking plant KPI performance, ensuring delivery of capital project returns, developing budgets and forecasts, and managing local plant accounting functions. The Controller also supervises the plant general ledger functions and financial reporting, plant level accounting control (e.g., expense reports, inventory, petty cash, etc.), and plant level operations analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the plant's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets for the Latrobe plant
- Develops, analyzes, and interprets statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other indices of the plant’s operating effectiveness
- Monitors all cost accounting functions for the Latrobe plant including new item setup, bill of material maintenance and verification, actual vs standard variance reporting
- Manages the plant period end close process to ensure compliance with the corporate close schedule
- Prepares the monthly operations results for the plant, and proactively investigates/reviews with local stakeholders
- Coordinates local activities with the company’s internal and external auditors
- Monitors financial controls for the plant in accordance with corporate policy to safeguard both customer and company owned assets against fraud, theft, and mitigate other financial risks
- Presents actual results vs targeted results to senior leadership and identifies areas of improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 10+ years accounting experience, preferably in both public and private sectors
- 5+ years experience managing and coaching a large team
- Manufacturing/operational accounting experience within a complex industry
- Strong GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferred
- Advanced MS Suite capabilities, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Essential Responsibilities:**
Conduct inspections on materials and equipment purchased, as well as products manufactured and assembled by the company, following drawings, standards and inspection guides in order to meet the quality standards required by the company;
+ Perform identification of the inspected items;
+ Perform the leak test when necessary, detecting possible imperfections caused by the process. Issue a statement of nonconformities found in the inspections carried out and send them to the responsible parties for the necessary measures;
+ Post information in the SAP system (Systems, Applications, and Programs).
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
Completed High School;
+ Technical Qualification preferably in the area of Mechanics;
+ Initiative, systemic vision, ability to plan and organize, good interpersonal relationship and focus on results;
+ Metrology and Calibration for the person responsible for calibration in the company;
+ Availability to work on a shift shift regime.

Your Responsibilities:
Curtiss-Wright EMD is searching for Manufacturing Quality Engineers to support its Quality Team in the design and manufacture of EMD's highly engineered products. Since 1952 Curtiss Wright EMD has been integral to the US Navy's nuclear propulsion program. You will play an important role by helping to implement the quality assurance program to support design, and manufacture ensuring product standards.

Your Challenge:
- Develop quality assurance data packages
- Drive continuous improvement within the quality management system
- Perform internal, process and external audits, surveillances
- Lead in translation of customer or regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions
- Provide technical support to inspectors and operators
- Present analysis of production data and trends
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and drive implementation of corrective actions
- Identify and resolve potential project or supplier quality issues
- Review, evaluate, and respond to customer and/or supplier correspondence
- Strong communication skills within a team setting to ensure quality standards are met
What you Bring:
- Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals.
- BS Engineering or related technical degree
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- 4 plus years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Auditing experience is an asset
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt/Green Belt/Black Belt certifications is desired
- Ability to read and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (ASME Y14.5) is a plus
