Job Description
**Key Responsibilities** :
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment including (but not limited to) injection mold machines, hot stamp machines, hydraulic and mechanical presses, and other critical machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and hydraulic issues
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Assist with facility upgrades and special projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility preferred
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and use power tools/equipment safely
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions(hot/cold)
**Preferred Experience:**
- Basic PLC troubleshooting or programming
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Certifications in LOTO, Arc Flash, and/or Forklifts are a plus

We are seeking a **Senior Buyer** to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing activities, managing material shortages, and driving continuous improvement in purchasing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong data analysis skills, ERP experience, and a passion for problem solving in a Lean manufacturing environment. While experience with raw metals and electronic components is a plus, this role supports a diverse range of materials and suppliers.
**Key Responsibilities:** **Purchasing Execution**
+ Place and manage purchase orders for a wide range of production and indirect materials.
+ Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
+ Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, expedite shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
+ Utilize **Dynamic Kanban strategies** within ERP or planning systems to support pull-based replenishment, reduce inventory, and respond to changing demand signals.
**Shortage Management**
+ Monitor material availability and proactively address shortages.
+ Collaborate with **Production and Logistics** teams to prioritize and resolve critical part issues.
+ Escalate supplier-related delays or constraints through Tier 2 and Tier 3 discussions.
**Supplier Relationship Management**
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key and problem suppliers to improve delivery performance, responsiveness, and communication.
+ Foster a **"help them help us"** mindset by working collaboratively with suppliers to understand their constraints and support their improvement efforts.
+ Work closely with the **Sourcing team** to align on supplier strategies, escalate chronic issues, and support supplier development initiatives.
+ Participate in supplier performance reviews and contribute to corrective action planning when needed.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in **Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering** .
+ 5+ years of experience in a **purchasing role** within a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong **Excel skills** and a solid background in **data analysis** .
+ Hands-on experience with **ERP systems** (e.g., JDE, Oracle, SAP).
+ Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with minimal supervision.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience purchasing materials in an **electro-mechanical environment** .
+ **Power BI** experience at an intermediate level (or minimum basic understanding).
+ Familiarity with Lean tools such as **standard work** , **visual management** , etc.
+ Demonstrated experience leading or supporting **Kaizen or Lean improvement events** .
+ APICS/CPIM or similar **supply chain certifications** .

**Reports To: Process Engineer**
**Position Summary:**
Plans and performs a normal range of machine startups, process set-up and adjustments, material replenishment. Of plastic injection materials, improving efficiency and assuring quality specifications are met.
**Shifts Available:**
**2nd Shift:** 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
**3rd Shift:** 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM
**Hourly Rate:** $26.00 - $2.00/hour (depending on experience and shift)
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Setup molds per manufacturing requirements.
+ Load material and clean hoppers.
+ Keep work area equipment clean and in accurate working condition.
+ Works with Maintenace Technicians to assure maximum machine up-time, also perform all other task assigned by team leader as necessary.
+ Perform daily 5s requirements, including wiping machines down and conducting assigned area cleanliness duties such as sweeping and emptying trash receptacles.
+ Identify and report safety hazards in the Intelex system.
+ Willing to train individuals with the right attitude and skill set.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.
+ **Experience:** Some experience in processing injection molding machines 2-5 yrs experience and set up experience preferred.
+ **Skills:** Ability to read and interpret Blueprints, perform basic math, and use measuring instruments like calipers, and micrometers. Must have good Verbal and written communication skills and be able to use hand tools and operate equipment.
+ Must be able lift min.of 50 pounds.
+ Excellent attendance record.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT:**
+ 8-to-12-hour shifts. Days, swing shift Night shift. Monday- Friday with occasional weekend work.
+ Factory work standing and walking most of the day.
+ Temperature in work area can vary, so appropriate clothing is recommended, see employee handbook for apricate attire guidelines.
+ Safety gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel toed shoes required and provided by the company.
+ Regular scheduled breaks are provided to ensure comfort and safety during their shift.

Mack Industries is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing all quality control aspects of a precast concrete production facility, ensuring that all manufactured concrete components meet established industry standards and project specifications by conducting thorough inspections, testing materials, implementing quality control procedures, and training staff to maintain consistent quality throughout the production process. This position will require ACI/MCA Level 1 Certification, basic computer skills and willingness to expand on current abilities.
Requirements:Essential Functions
- Perform pre-pour inspections on all forms, reinforcement steel and inserts in a timely manner to maintain optimized workflow
- Look for opportunities to improve materials, processes and products
- Test and inspect material and product at various stages of the production process
- Identify, document, and report any quality problems to production and the QA manager
- Read and interpret product layouts, engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and formula mixes
- Communicate with batch plant daily regarding mix performance and adjust as needed
- Organize and prepare documents for data entry
- Enter data into database software and check to ensure the accuracy of the data
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- Perform supervisory responsibilities for QC technicians
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties
- Willingness to develop new skills and progress current skills
- Willingness to assist other departments as needed

Requirements
Education and Training
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance a plus but not required
- Experience can replace education
- ACI/MCA Level 1 Certification preferred but not required

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Quality Control in manufacturing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly observant, able to identify small differences in products and procedures to meet detailed standards
- Ability to multitask and properly execute multiple simultaneous assignments without sacrificing efficiency or quality of the work
- Basic computer software knowledge and capacity to learn new systems
