Salary Range:$23 - $26 per hour
Summary of Role: In this role, you will prepare and perform manual tasks (inspection, deburring, etc.) or run a CNC machine such as drilling, milling, etc., to within close tolerances. In addition, you are responsible for producing high quality parts and materials by reading and interpreting blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
*Set up and maintain tooling in peak condition.
*Understand specifications and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings, etc.
*Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
*Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
*Supervise the machine while it executes the program and make any necessary adjustments to produce the desired result.
*Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed, and done properly.
*Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repair.
*Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating any actions taken or needed.
Qualifications:
*High school diploma or high school equivalency required.
*Solid mechanical aptitude.
*Strong communication skills.
*Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings preferred.
*Ability to operate and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, and Word).
*Strong problem-solving skills.
*Strong attention to detail, organization and time management.
*Ability to handle multiple tasks and activities while prioritizing according to requirements.
*Understands, writes and speaks basic and technical English.
*Ability to work a variety of shifts if required.

Requirements

The Electrical Manufacturing Technician is responsible for scaling the build operations for innovative electric aircraft components from process development through hands-on assembly. As a Manufacturing Technician at BETA Technologies, you will work in a small team environment to rapidly take designs from benchtop assembly to certified production. You will perform daily hands-on production assembly tasks while also devoting time to refining manufacturing process layouts, designing jigs and fixtures, introducing new tools and equipment to the production floor, and continuously improving quality and throughput to align with high-level business goals. You will work closely with your peers to thread design changes from ongoing product development efforts seamlessly into existing build processes. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Hands-on assembly of electric powertrain components (Flight Control Computers, Motor Inverters, Airplane Consoles, Wiring Harness, etc.)
- Operating production equipment. You will construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components/assemblies
- Following technical data packages (technical drawings), guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met
- Performing troubleshooting, calibrations or modifications of hardware, fixtures and software
- Using measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems and components/assemblies
- Interpret data and accurately record time changes, test data, parts usage, etc.
- Performing in-process quality control inspection tasks, feeling comfortable identifying and raising concerns about process deviations, and being an integral part of any troubleshooting efforts to solve them
- Maintaining accurate and clear manufacturing documentation in compliance with quality systems or regulations. Documentation to include up-to-date assembly process documentation as well as process data (fastener torque, electrical checks, etc.)
- The candidate should have a drive for the organization such that build processes and manufacturing data can easily be audited

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for production operations on innovative electric aircraft components through hands-on assembly. As a Manufacturing Technician at Beta Technologies, you will work in a small team environment as we develop a low volume production area to a fully established manufacturing department. As an open minded and outside-the-box thinker you will perpetually strive to supplement your past experience with new knowledge gained every day through research and experimentation. You will perform daily hands-on production assembly tasks while also devoting time to refining manufacturing processes, design jigs and fixtures, introduce new tools and equipment ideas to the manufacturing team and continuously improve quality and throughput to align with high level business goals. You will work closely with your peers to thread design changes from ongoing product development efforts seamlessly into existing build processes. You will be challenged every day and probably have a lot of fun.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Hands-on assembly of electric powertrain components
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the manufacturing processes as the key process owner
- Performing in-process quality control inspection tasks, feeling comfortable identifying and raising concern about process deviations and being an integral part of any troubleshooting efforts to solve them
- Maintaining accurate and clear manufacturing documentation in compliance with both internal and external quality systems or regulations. Documentation to include up-to-date assembly process documentation as well as process data (fastener torque, electrical checks, etc.). The candidate should have a drive for organization such that build processes and manufacturing data can easily be audited
- Performing regular inspection and cleaning of manufacturing equipment along with routine maintenance to keep operations running flawlessly
- Maintaining maintenance logs for all machines or process they oversee, which requires proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
- Providing regular productivity reports, and incident reports as needed
- Using all mandated safety equipment and complies with all safety requirements in accordance with company and government regulations and guidelines
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
- Two-year degree or certificate from an accredited two (2) year college, university, or technical school preferred
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, the principles of Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement, Lean 5S and Kanban preferred
- Ability to assist in problem analysis and independent decision making
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics of mechanical and electrical components
- Understanding of how electric motors work
- Good team communication skills required
- Google G -Suite including drive, mail, calendar, docs, sheets, slides, charts, hangouts; slack, application lifecycle
- Previous experience building electric motors
- Previous Computer-Aided Design (CAD) experience - Specifically 3DX/Catia
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience taking a new product from engineering release to full-rate production
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Manual dexterity

Purpose of the Job:
The Crane Operator is responsible to operate overhead cranes to move rail cars in a safe and efficient manner for installation processes.
Salary: $23.25/hour
Key accountabilities:
- Installation of interior and exterior components of a railcar.
- Properly follow all overhead Crane/Trackmobile operating rules, regulations and other procedures.
- Perform required overhead crane movements and Trackmobile in a skillful and safe manner.
- Ensure all car moves and/or moving of any other apparatus are properly manned. (Example: bogies, lifting hooks or other parts.)
- Immediately report any unusual sound or noise coming from the operation of the crane to the EPU Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by EPU Manager.
- Willing and able to assist in reviewing and solving station work problems, establishing and maintain safety, quality, & 5S standards

Experience:
- More than 2 years' experience in Industrial or Manufacturing unit, on electronics, electrical or mechanical devices
