**This role is responsible for partnering with and supporting the** **Market Managers** **to maximize the impact of Houston Methodist's sponsorship portfolio.**
**The Senior Marketing Specialist plays a key role in developing, implementing, and measuring sponsorship plans that enhance brand visibility across sports, arts, and community partnerships.**
**This position also oversees** **consumer e** **vents** **and strategy** **and** **manages** **relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and sponsorship partners** **.**
At Houston Methodist, the Senior (Sr.) Marketing Specialist position is responsible for leading, managing and partnering with marketing management in driving preference and volume for assigned programs/service lines and maximizing impact of assigned sponsorships. Additionally, this position contributes to strategy and optimization of various marketing programs. This client-facing position manages relationships with administration, physician leaders, vendors and other stakeholders as assigned and implements, measures, and optimizes marketing/sponsorship plans in partnership with management. The Sr. Marketing Specialist position contributes to developing effective business cases with management, digital, web, market research and other cross functional teams to drive positive change in partnership with hospital operations.
**PEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Leads and maintains positive relationships with hospital leadership, clients, sponsored organizations, and vendors to educate on strategic marketing initiatives.
+ Leads multiple marketing initiatives and contributes to driving creative solutions with hospital leaders, physicians, and other stakeholders under guidance of manager.
+ Leads communication with individuals and groups in a manner that engages and helps them understand strategy and goals.
**SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Develops plans, campaigns, and event strategy under guidance of manager, identifying ways to measure performance and forms insights. Independently leads creative kickoffs. Develops and manages recurring performance reports.
+ Manages relationships with vendors for campaigns, events, and initiatives. Leads planning implementation, follow-up for sponsorship elements and events.
+ Proactively reviews and updates web content, collateral, advertising templates to ensure effective messaging. Leads conversations as business expert with writers, designers and serves as strategic partner to lead execution of initiatives, advertising, internal communications, and community relations as assigned.
**QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Develops strategy and evaluates success of programs, service lines, sponsorships, and events under guidance of manager. Contributes to development of key insights and initiatives annually.
+ Develops clear and concise communications, reports, and presentations with compelling data for leadership.
**FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Measures results and provides recommendations to optimize spending in partnership with digital teams and vendors.
+ Develops campaigns aligned to return on investment (ROI) and recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs) as assigned.
+ Submits invoices on time; tracks and adheres to budgets for assigned projects.
**GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Proactively seeks opportunities to optimize strategy and initiatives to grow candidate or consumer preference and volumes. Makes recommendations for improvement.

Job Description

As a **Sr Customer Marketing Specialist** here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for developing and executing customer marketing strategies that align with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and product management, to understand customer needs and develop targeted campaigns. Your expertise in analyzing market trends and customer data will enable you to identify growth opportunities and provide insights for improvement.
**You will work out of our Houston, TX, Richardson TX, or Charlotte NC office location on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F** .
Additionally, you will play a role by guiding and mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. In this role, you will impact the company by driving customer engagement and loyalty through strategic marketing initiatives. Your contributions will be felt through increased customer satisfaction, loyalty, and the achievement of business goals.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Drive lead management by generating a strong sales pipeline through campaigns and events
+ Ensure Creative Team effectively deploys the Value Proposition in all collateral
+ Managing third party vendors, such as external agencies and copywriters, to execute the campaigns
+ Collaborate with the Paid Media team to manage media planning and buying for campaigns
+ Partner with events resources to own messaging, demos, customer experience and hit targets for external events
+ Nurture leads through the sales funnel
+ Build a strategy, oversee marketing efforts for both Industry and Vertical markets
+ Create and maintain nurture campaigns through marketing automation and retargeting to convert leads to prospects
+ Develop and execute customer marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and loyalty
+ Work with cross-functional teams, including sales and product management, to understand customer needs and develop targeted marketing campaigns
+ Analyze market trends and customer data to identify growth opportunities and provide insights for improvement
+ Guide the development and execution of marketing programs, including email campaigns, social media promotions, and customer events
+ Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
+ Manage the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience across all touchpoints
+ Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM systems to optimize campaign performance and track customer interactions
+ Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in customer marketing, bringing innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement

+ 5+ years of experience in customer marketing or related roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
+ 3+ years of experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
