Position Overview:

The Senior Marketing Strategy Manager role is responsible for implementing strategic direct mail marketing activities for their assigned partners/products to meet or exceed budgeted contract/customer growth. The position reports directly to the Sr Director, Marketing Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing plans for partners that maximize client/business profitability.
  • Prepare budget plans for assigned partners.
  • Develop and test new marketing strategies which improve response rates among new and existing customer segments.
  • Monitor performance of all creative and data strategies and make appropriate recommendations to further improve performance.
  • Conceptualize and develop report requirements for business needs.
  • Ensure marketing tests are set up and tracked accurately.
  • Conduct analysis into past performance results in order to map out trends and identify key response variables; leverage these findings to optimize customer acquisition activity.
  • Develop and propose new product/channel ideas/marketing concepts.
  • Assist in providing strategic direction to supporting marketing teams on the execution of new marketing ideas/concepts/tests.
  • Review and approve direct marketing creatives to ensure strategy is executed properly.
  • Maintain and distribute reporting from both current and historic strategic, creative and segment testing.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of direct marketing experience. Prefer candidate with direct mail knowledge & experience.
  • Self-starter; able to seize opportunities with minimal direction
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to read trends and isolate key response variables
  • Excellent marketing skills – ability to conceptualize new ideas, strategies, etc.
  • Results oriented; demonstrated success in overcoming obstacles and launching campaigns on time and on budget
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics a plus

This role ensures Seramount’s digital marketing programs are scalable and measurable by managing core marketing operations (automation in Marketo, Salesforce integration, database management) and advancing digital marketing enablement and analytics (multi-channel reporting, campaign setup and tracking, and performance measurement across web, social, paid, and email).

The ideal candidate is a problem solver and capable of using project management skills to drive simple and efficient solutions in a complex environment. The role requires building strong collaborative relationships, paying meticulous attention to detail, and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in platforms like Marketo, Salesforce, and Google Analytics and Tag Manager with strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to help the team scale its digital marketing impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing Automation and Technologies

  • Assist with the planning and execution of a wide range of marketing operations projects to improve campaign tracking, lead management, and overall execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain program, campaign, and asset templates in Marketo; update as business needs evolve.

  • Manage creation of marketing segmentation, working with demand to ensure all users can identify and reach key buyer audiences with speed and intention.
  • Create and share monthly reports on data cleanliness within Marketo.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field such as data, IT, or marketing
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations, automation, and analytics
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and administrative experience with Marketo () or another enterprise marketing automation platform; strong proficiency with CRM systems and database management
